What's the one review that you disagree with most?

This doesn't have to be yahtzee or escapist, just a review that you really thought must have been written by a complete moron.

There are tons of flaws in that game but they seem to put emphasis on some of the things that could hardly even be counted as flaws like the Ai being too smart.

I don't pay too much attention to reviews because they colour my perspective of the game before I play it. The only reviews I actually look at are yahtzee's and that is just for entertainment value.

Pretty much all of Yahtzee's reviews. He's a terrible reviewer and the fact that his fanboys do pretty much whatever he says means that they will miss out on quite a few great gaming experiences.

Also, any review that disses Oblivion without a decent explanation as to why. I accept most arguments, but not people who stop playing after the tutorial.

I mean seriously its a great game, but it has glaring flaws which the major reviewers all completely ignored in favour of ass kissing it because its a GTA game :/

I disagreed most with the Game Informer review of "Lost Planet: Extreme Condition." They gave it an 8.75 when it sucked ass. It should have been a 5 at the most.

I enjoy Yahzee's reviews and know that they are not to be taken too seriously and even if he disses a game I like, it doesn't mean I'm wrong. Assassin's Creed for instance; I enjoy the game but I agree with Yahtzee's points of combat difficulties, slow paced when riding a horse, inconsistant reasons for Templars to chase you, etc, but there is one game I did not understand his review of: Mirrors Edge.

I think ME is one of the best games to have come out yester-year and Yahtzee is always complaing about how great adventure-action games are, how games need to be more original, how the soundtrack needs to be good, how lives systems are out-dated, etc; so why didn't he enjoy it? Hell, why did no-one on the internet enjoy it?

These pop up all the time in reviews. Although Yahtzee flamed both those games (Although he said he did actually like Fallout) he flamed them truthfully. That doesn't change the fact I will hunt him down, and destroy him.

Also, Unskippable isn't technichally a review is it? It's just two guys taking the piss out of cutscenes.

I disagree with any positive Neverwinter Nights 2 review. Positive = more than 7/8 and saying it's better than NwN 1.

Any review that marks down a Japanese or Eastern game because it's... well, Japanese or Eastern. I always disagree with them. I mean come on, there is some truely wonderful JRPG's out there, but they always get marked down (although, most reviewers tend to find a way of making it seem like there not being bias towards Western games as they usually say things like "Oh, the gameplay's to hard in that JRPG")

For the record, I personally believe that Fallout 3 deserves a 1/10 compared to Oblivion, and a 10/10 compared to other games.

I recently turned my back on GameSpot. These guys deliberately give in to any hype and/or game of which they had one of the programmers in their editorial office. And they give every generic shooter at least 9/10 as long as it has multiplayer in it.

Also, there is a german reviewer who always makes me spit vile from the blackest depth of my soul. He gives games really bad grades when he doesn't like the graphic style. He never played Team Fortress 2, Okami or Patapon because of the art style! Can you call yourself a serious reviewer and make such a statement???

I loved Mirrors Edge and thought it one of the best games last year. It was as much fun as I thought it would be.

I thought so, too. Finally a game that tried something new. Even though it was very easy, I really enjoyed the atmosphere, graphics and sound.

Exactly. He's not a review because he doesn't review games. He doesn't even give it a rating of any sort. I don't believe in the 1/10 scoring system, but still. So kind of rating would be VERY nice.
