This is a question I pondered when I realized that Steve Blum can sell me on anything that he's the main voice in. Anime/Games/Movies/etc.

So I ask you, what element would it take to be added that will result in your automatic interest in said person, place, thing, or idea? Be it kittens, gummy bears, you name it.

I believe the promise of sex would get me about anywhere...

All joking aside, I'm going to have to go with "Bethesda Softworks"

If Will Smith is in it.

Even better if the thing being sold is a physical product.

Naughty Dog. Every single one of their games has been marvelous so far. I can't wait to get Uncharted 3 tomorrow morning!!!

Ooh, there is something about this I want to say but the modbots won't like, neither will you.

Modding did, I would have likely "tried" it, and of course the tools.

There are two words that simply suck money out of my wallet:
Valve
Bioware

Dammit, why do they have to make such good games?

'Warning! This product is extremely dangerous and should not be used by anyone other than trained professionals!"

I just cannot resist.

Surprisingly for a Westerner, the anime aesthetic present in most JRPGs. And a number of other games, when I can actually get them that is. I still haven't bought Xenoblade, but I'll probably nab it with Christmas money, and I already love TWEWY and Touhou to death...

...I'd try Kingdom Hearts, too, but I don't have a PS2. And I've made plenty of 'sour grapes' comments, which will probably all be apologised for after I eventually play Dream Drop Distance.

And I haven't watched very much anime, partly because I dislike the general content and there's no game to balance it out with.

Anything Valve, or if it's narrated by Morgan Freeman, Stephen Fry, John Cleese, or Patrick Stewart.

I would say Batman, but those Schumacher movies happened, so I guess that isn't it. I'll take your Steve Blum and raise you a DAN GREEN!

The ability to transform. Most of the things in my house, and to some extent, the house itself have a limited transformation ability. I just like things that have secondary purposes that are not immediately visible.

Pro-tip, buy a bed that you can install in your wall and pull down when company comes. They are uncomfortable and your company won't stay as long. And you can use space for other things.

Lightsabers, or to some extent, anything resembling a sword, saber (sabre), blade or device with a sharp pointy implement on it.

If you tell me, "Kingdom Hearts is a video game created by Square (Soft/Enix) that has Disney characters in it", no dice. If you tell me, "Kingdom Hearts is a video game created by Square (Soft/Enix) that has Disney characters in it and your weapon is called a 'Keyblade'".

I will punch the heavens to have it in my hands right now.

Heck, the only reason Star Wars is even remotely cool to me now (And Scott Pilgrim looked mildly interesting to me in previews, and No More Heroes sounds like a reason for me to buy a Wii) is because of the Swords/Lightsabers in the advertisement.

I'm a very easy person to shop for.

Any game Bungie will be releasing in the future. I've enjoyed their games so far and not to mention they sold off most of their Halo stuff to donate to charity. So yeah, I like Bungie.
