To stretch the definition of "opposite" to mean "thing that has opposite traits of this noun," I'd say warhorse or draft horse. Maybe Clydesdale for a single word. They're large, sturdy, powerful things -- ponies are not.

Looking at this logically we can say that a pony is a small furred mammal with 4 legs, hoofs that would naturally live on the plains.
So the opposite of a pony would be a large hairless creature that lives in the water, has no legs and no hoofs, so given this theory I would say the the Colossal Squid would be the opposite to a pony.

So i was going to archive my MLP:FiM shows onto DVD's, but to throw off any detectives, i was going to label them with every word being the opposite of the truth, and came up with "Your huge ----: Enmity isn't Mundane" but i can't think for the life of me what to replace 'pony' with... by it's very nature there's no antonym... what should i put there?
Donkey. Nuff said.

A rhinoceros, I think. Ponies are small, furry, dainty, and adorable. Rhinos are none of those things.

Let's see, the opposite of a pony.

A pony is a biological organism, so we'd want, say, a robot or a machine.
A pony has legs, so we'd want something that can fly.

Hmm... a fighter jet! It doesn't live, doesn't walk, doesn't operate independently, is fast, and is MANLY.

I second the "Your huge Tree: Emnity isn't mundane", if only because the huge tree part made me think of Yggdrasil, but then rapidly switch tracks to the huge tree form that Exdeath shows up as at the end of Final Fantasy 5.
And he's all about the emnity and nihilism.

There isn't as far as I am aware. A Pony is a smaller breed of Horse. A small/young Horse is called a Foale.

Life is not black and white and full of opposites! It's opposite pony loving people like you that caused all the problems in the Middle East, both World Wars and maybe Vietnam. Are you happy now? If you must have an 'opposite', then it's unpony. Not to be confused with undead ponies which are the opposite of living ponies. Sorted.

well, a pony is the name given to a young horse... something that's small, usually weak and unrideable.

So the only thing that comes to mind that's large, powerful and very rideable is a Battle Cat!

I'm going to say "space marine." Think about it. Halo fans (you know which ones I mean, not all of them in general) are exactly the sort of macho-douchebags who hate on MLP fans. Further: ponies are peaceful, space marines are made for war. Ponies (we're talking about My Little Ponies, yes?) are colorful, space marines are dull gray and brown, or at least their games are. Ponies are cute, varied, and with diverse, relatable personalities, and space marines are all identical, emotionless, and characterless.

Of course, I don't mean to insult any mature, sensible Halo fans, I'm just pointing out the vast disparity in content and fandoms.

You could put "mule", but "Your Huge Mule" sounds like a porno. In fact, "Your Huge [Anything]" sounds like a porno.

An inside-out pony. Obviously.

Edit: also, `your' isn't the opposite of `my'. `Not my' is.

OT: I would say chicken, but that has been disproven

But... but... he's grandpappy Nurgle. He loves all his children... even the ones he eats... and throws up!
All he wants is a big hug!
Barf.

I guess in the equine world a Horse is the opposite of a pony, seeing as a pony is far smaller.
