My personal favorite is a simple one. It is an instrument that leaves hardly any DNA, can be used to teach a person a lesson with a few swings to the kneecaps, and you can burn it to get rid of any evidence.

I'd say it depends. Purely for fighting purposes, possibly a Baseball Bat. It's one of the lighter bludgeoning weapons around that still has enough force to shatter bones. For "all around" purposes, possibly a crowbar. It's heavier and harder to wield, but you can also use it to pry things open and, in a pinch, stab stuff.

A golf trophy is the best weapon to bludgeon your wife to death with.

I dunno. Whatever's handy I guess. At my old house we had a baseball bat handy in case of an intruder, but I don't think there's a weapon in this house. As for the question, I'd go with something both practical and effective, like a baseball bat or a tire iron.
