Hmm. Tough question.
If you count re-releases, the oldest thing I'm playing is Super Mario 2.
The oldest thing I own an original set of disks for (that still work that is, because I have a few floppies that are corrupt) is most likely Wing Commander 3.
(If you include those corrupted disks, it's Sim City 2000)
But... If you combine both requirements, I'm not really sure. There's a lot of old stuff around me that I don't play... But probably will just pick up again randomly without warning.
So there's very few old games I currently play, but I still own quite a few really old games that I undoubtedly have been known to fire up at random for no apparent reason and start playing again...

Well, the oldest I have is Final Fantasy for the NES. I still like to play Final Fantasy 2 (4) for the super nintendo since it's a classic, but I usually play it for the ps1 because my power adapter is broke on my SNES. I get regular use out of my ps1 for games like Xenogears, Shadow Madness, Final fantasy 7/8/9/tactics, Suikoden 2 and legend of the dragoon.
As far as games that have stolen the most of my life (100's of hours each):
Baldurs Gate 2
Icewind Dale 1 and 2
Morrowind
I'd put WoW and FFXI, but it's expected of MMORPGers to steal the life out of their subscribers.

Quake 3 arena It is 12yrs old and it has never been off my hard drive. I still play it from time to time, I love to load up a map with a ton of bots and blast away.
This is a tough one... I would have to say Secret of Mana (Seiken Densetsu 2) (1993). One of the best on the SNES, in my opinion, and lots of fond memories are attached to it. I listen to the soundtrack and follow new mixes on OCremix regularly.
