And for dramatic effect, she uses the blade side to turn it, cutting her hands in the process.BlindMessiah94 said:Happy Ending? Did we watch the same movie?mcgroobber said:Now i dont know if this thread was done before, but i was talking to people about shawshank redemption and i love that movie, but i hate the end, its just too happy to be realistic
and i hate happy endings
so what ending annoys you the most?
I'm pretty sure him escaping doesn't constitute as "happy". His wife was murdered and he was framed for it and jailed and abused for years. There is no happy ending for him, just escape.
I have to go with whatever Tomb Raider film I'm thinking of...Cradle of Life maybe?
At the end there is some time travel dealy bob thing, that allows you to change the past or something stupid.
Some antagonist throws a knife and some good guy, stabbing him in the chest, killing him.
Lara Croft rewinds time and stops it mid knife throw, then proceeds to turn the knife around and then for some reason when time resumes normally the knife changes direction and returns to stab the thrower in the chest! WTF? It would just continue onward, hitting the original target handle side first right? Granted that whole movie was terrible but seriously did no one think at some point "Okay, even this is too stupid"?
Agreed with both, they were terrible. I didn't even mind the monstors being made up in The Village, but being set in modern times!? What the hell.Audemas said:OT: My top two worst endings of a movie would be No Country For Old Men and The Village. Especially The Village because that movie was just...I can't even explain it. I was so frustrated after watching that movie I just felt like fighting someone.
The whole film was terrible to be fair, I can't believe that Starship Troopers 2 and 3 were actually smaller budget films than the first, usually they go up not down.Soviet Heavy said:Starship Troopers 3: Marauder. They drop a planet buster on God Bug. Movie ends. Terrible, terrible movie.
Trust me, don't. Donnie Darko is quite possibly my favourite film ever. S.Darko made me want to murder whoever thought wrote the script, whoever read the script and decided to make the film rather than murder the script writer, and whoever didn't burn down the studio where it was being made.Milky_Fresh said:I haven't seen S. Darko, but I don't think I want to. Don't wanna wreck one of the best movies I've ever seen.Skullkid4187 said:S. Darko. The sequel to the best movie ever made.(Well what can you expect when all the good actors, writers, and Richard Kelly are gone) But seriously SHE KNEW EVERYTHING HAPPENED WHY THE FUCK DID SHE LEAVE!
That really was awful... I kept thinking of the other films and thinkin "how could they get it so WRONG??"ConstantJoe said:Bit of an obvious one, but the new Indiana Jones movie. I mean, aliens? Really?
It might've been alright maybe, if they didn't look so damn stupid...and if yer man from Transformers was removed from the movie.
I don't know if I can agree with you on that. I dont really want to say much because there are actually three endings, but the one I saw had something happen very very fast. I thought it was well done, got a good reaction out of the crowd. Reading the other two endings, one sounds good, one sounds bad. The bad one is the one they screened pre release and then tacked into the dvd as a special feature.D Bones said:The end of Paranormal Activity ruined it. Jesus christ it was terrible...I'm sitting in the theater pissing in my pants cause that movie is really freaky. the build-up throughout the whole movie is great and it really gets you freaked out. then the end takes a massive dump on what you have just watched by being a retarded piece of garbage.
Aaw, I love that movie and I thought the ending worked.sinclose said:Well worst I can think of right now is 'The Brave One'. It was an OK movie, but the ending was so cliche and terrible...
As a huge fan of that film (my favorite M. Knight film) I don't get why the ending bothers people. It spoke about social coercion and difference sin time periods. Made the opening scene on a second viewing far more profound for me.Audemas said:Especially The Village because that movie was just...I can't even explain it.
