What's the worst ending you've ever gotten in a game? Spoilers

I just finished Digital Devil Survivor and I got Yuzu's ending...that's only slightly better than the ending you get if you skip out on sixth day. After that playthrough I completely ingnored Honda and his sob story.

Gotta agree. The entire game all you hear about is the shit inside the vault and how you will get rich and famous and then you don't get shit. I didn't need any money but some nice guns would have been a step in the right direction. Fun game with a lot of replay value but a shitty ending.

Arrgh! That was the most frustrating ending ever! I kicked that squid's ass after fighting through so many of those flying alien bug guys and those other jackasses, expecting to find a pile of laser-shooting lightning-blasting skull-crushing guns, and I get nothing. I actually had to go check on the internet to see if I missed anything! I just assumed I walked past the door to the alien vault, but no! Nothing!

You fought through them?!?!

I tried and in the end, said "Oh, to hell with this!" and just legged it to the Vault.
This was with a co-op partner who did the same thing.

Like all the previous worst ending thread: Shenmue 2. If you're going to give a cliffhanger, can at you at least give a sequel?

Oh, I still think that Mass effect had a cheesy ending.

Advent Rising, for the very reason that they figured they could just leave the story unfinished like that, when really, let's face it, there was never going to be a sequel anyway. At least Halo 3 was always going to come.
