What's the worst ending you've ever gotten in a game? Spoilers

Oh, hold on let me find my list of video game endings that pissed me off.

Let's see.......

Sonic Chronicles: DON'T END IT ON A FUCKING CLIFFHANGER!
Fallout 3: I was slightly pissed off I wouldn't get to experience to wasteland with clean water, I didn't even die at the end! (As of current I do not possess Broken Steel)
Left 4 Dead: Had no ending, that's what pissed me off.
Left 4 Dead 2: Finishes with them escaping in a chopper, AND THEN WHAT?! It dosen't say nothing after that.

And many, MANY others that I can't be bothered to explain. And from the looks of things BorderLands ending is gonna make me want to break my hand. Bad endings really annoy me, and cliffhangers.

I fucking HATED the bad ending in The Force Unleashed.

Instead of defeating Vader and becoming the Emperor's equal or killing them both and becoming the new ruler of the empire, we get to have our asses handed to us by Wrinkle McLightingDick, our hot chick girlfriend dies and we become a slave.

I will admit that the new storyline idea is extremely cool. The problem is that they make us pay 10 dollars for 20 minutes of it and the rest you have to buy the game again for.

OT: You know that this will be said a lot, but Fable 2 had the worst ending I have ever seen.

Just by looking at the Op's past posts, you can tell he dosen't come here often. So how is he suppose to know about the repeat threads when he wasen't here?

Oh, you want to battle General Scales to get the last Krazoa Spirit and save Dinosaur Planet from the tyranny of the SharpClaw? Too bad! Turns out he was a puppet of Andross! Go fight him instead!
I may not have played the previous StarFox games, but talk about a kick in the teeth.

Bioshock. Assasin's Creed. Kane And Lynch. Dead Space... Okay, Kane And Lynch was realistic ending for the situation the game was set in but it doesn't stop it from sucking. Dead Space I kinda liked simply because it was the second part of the game that made me jump. The first time one of the... I don't know 'infected' jumped up, but the only reason the ending made me jump was because the rest of it was so predictable that I didn't realise they'd do that. Stupidly I know.

I'd actually like to be recommended a game that I can appreicate the story, like the game play and have a good ending... That is asking too much. Let's see a good ending.

Castlevania harmony of dissonance: Bad ending
Ok I've seen some bad ones, but this takes the cake. I go in, fight Maxim, and he says "Oh now I'm dead and the chick is dead to, nice going" and Juste is like "Noooo, all I got is this stupid bracelet to remember him by"
reloads, puts on bracelet, fight Vlad, and finish that game the right way

Borderlands. After playing the game I was expecting to enter the damn vault and get some booty. All I found was a big purple squid that dropped a green pistol. I was not amused.

Clock Tower 1 on Playstation. Survived to the end, but didn't do any of the actual detective work to solve the mystery. So, I escaped the school, but it's implied that the killer finds me later and kills me.

It was the "D" ending.

Not only did you spot it from near begining, but it was also too damn easy.

I'm blowing up Malaria medicine, destroying water pipelines to neighbouring countries and then all of a suddenly you decide I have to be a good guy, and either blow my balls off OR put a bullet to my own skull.

The FUUUUUCK! Let me be evil, don't just pull a 180 and say "Oh wait, forget all of that horrible shit you've done now you have to save the people! Yeah!"

Xenosaga 2, just because it implied that the universe was screwed and then those BASTARDS at Squeenix didn't released Xenosaga 3 over here, forever leaving me wondering what the hell might have been. (Yeah, I know all the cutscenes are on YouTube, but it's just not the same...)

In Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura, if you screw up certain quests the endings will make you want to drink yourself to death.

NWN2. Just... WTF? Seriously. Thank god for Mask of the Betrayer, because it managed to save the series, but oh GOD whoever wrote the ending to the OC needs a kick in the balls.

Final Fantasy X-2, all the endings suck, even the so-called 'perfect' ending, because the other endings just plain suck and the 'perfect' ending basically nullifies the entire POINT of Tidus' sacrifice at the end of Final Fantasy X, which had a beautifully poignant ending.

Basically in this thread the mosted hated is cliffhangers or games that kill you... Ironic isn't it. One doesn't give you the end and the other one gives you the final end.

Cliffer - "the end" and? "and thats it" and? "thats all its over" And then? "you pay $60 for the next game you F^.^ing whore"

Killer - "you died" What? No... it can't be(sniff) I had some much to do, some many achievments left, so much exploding to do...

cliffer - A.C. I + II, MDW I + II, DA:O, Tekken 6(wtf tekken 6), Fallout 3 DLC, Halo I + II + III(and the winner of can't finish a F^.^ing thing), Borderlands, force unleashed, L4D I + II, Brutal Legend, GOW I + II (sequals are really pissing me off... yada yada yada.

Killer - Fallout(seriously both), force unleashed(WTF again), MDW I + II(ok really thats mature), Possibly L4D I + II (ok I'll let this one slide because its called L4D), DA:O(alright thats it really, if its not a cliffhanger its a Killer and if not well then the hell with it I don't care.)

you know what the worst ending to me was... knowing I just payed $60 to experience a interactive bed time story... THAT NEVER ENDED, so i'm sitting there wondering whats gonna happen and not getting any sleep. and if it killed me, well now thats not so bad now is it, at least I got some sleep... so any one got a ending they actually liked... I liked the Kingdom Hearts I + II endings myself.... AND THEY WERE CLIFFERS THAT NEVER GOT FINISHED EVEN WITH 5 YEARS... which killed me inside. SO i'm just gonna imagine that the all the letter said was thanks. THERE NOW GET SOME FO.OING SLEEP.

Dead Rising was probably the most dissapointing, Final Fantasy was the saddest. The endings were not bad though.

I must disagree with X-2 having the worst ending if only for the fact i could say i beat every final fantasy and no longer had to play that pile of shit anymore.

Halo 3, they had to let the master chief live huh? guaranteeing at least another halo in the foreseeable future, I like playing halo, but much like sonic, it needs to be put down.
