Crank, Bruno or Be Cool. Can't decide which one.
Dear god, Bruno. I didn't even want to see it, and yet I saw it.

Yeah, my girlfriend and I were on vacation and were watching that while waiting for a Major League Baseball game to start... so we were stuck... It would have been the only movie I've ever got up and walked out of had we been at our hometown theater.

Of *all* movies?
Zombie vs. ninja - the writer, director, producer, and one of the main roles - same guy. You knew the ninja's were ninjas by their 80's style headbands... and they were white. Oh, and coffin-fu.

Worst major Hollywood film: Congo. Apes with frikkin' laser beams. Bad animatronics. Preachy.

Watchmen. I'm not even being hyperbolic. I hated it. The pacing was poor. And it was really awkward. That "sex" scene...ugh. Least appealing sex in a movie ever, and I've seen Before the Devil Knows You're Dead (which opens to Phillip Seymour Hoffman's ass). It was so bad it actually put me in a bad mood for a few hours. My friend and I had to watch some Curb Your Enthusiasm to get our spirits back up.

That's a legitimately difficult question to answer. I see a lot of very, very bad movies. I specifically go out of my way to watch bad movies. But there are a few levels of terrible for me. There's a certain level at which a movie is so terrible that it becomes hilarious. There's even a point at which a legitimately bad movie is taking itself so seriously that it becomes awful. Movies like the Josh Kirby series, Troll 2 and the whole C-Movie genre are all bad enough to be funny.

Some movies, though, have good enough CG, and take a straight-faced enough approach that they miss that critical point of being funny, and just end up being bad. Dragon Wars: D-War is a good example of this. I would have to rack my memory in order to properly figure out what is the worst movie I've ever seen. I want to say The Adventures of Pluto Nash or maybe Rush Hour 3, but I love Jackie Chan, and Pluto Nash is trying so hard its almost endearing... for now I'll give a reluctant Spiderman 3 and may get back to you later.

Trying to figure this out made me realized just how much shit I watch. It's like, 70/30 of shit to good.

It is definitely Transformers 2. I've never bothered to watch the third. I've seen B-movies with better writing. I wouldn't even compare it to crap, because if someone covered the DVD with shit, it would be like encasing it in gold.

Damn, I gotta watch more AVGN episodes to come up with better insults for this abomination.

fan boys, god fucking damn do i hate this film, the legend of chun-li was better then it. Normally when i watch a bad movie and cant stand it anymore, i just leave and play some video game, but not with this, no sir. 10 minutes in, i turned it off, went to the nearest corner, curled up into the fetal position, and cried for an hour. This movie was that bad. Micheal Bay's transformers seem like oscar material in comparison

Borat never was and never will be funny, no matter what people try to tell me, I made it 20 mins in and thought "sod that" and put in a Bill Bailey DVD instead.

Ang Lee's "Hulk" irked me, how can you get a hulk movie That Bad!!! "whats behind the green door in his head?".... seriously?!

But my most blood boiling hatred goes to District freaking 9! I have never been so bored, irritated and tempted to walk out of a film ever. I really dont get the praise for it or what "message" the film maker is trying to convey, though I might have missed that simply because I was too busy hating the film to care.

Not to mention the plot is stupid, why did the aliens turn up? if they dont like it why dont they leave? why are the people of earth keeping them here?... oh and shocker! American military wants to harness thier weapons! what a twist! and the whole "main guy is turning into one of them and so has a change of heart" routine, dear christ, thats as cliche'd as "it was all a dream"... also how the hell does a canister of space ship fuel do that to him?!

Oh and every character is an unlikable jerk, the main guy? Jerk, the aliens? intergalactic jerks, the military? heavily armed jerks. I didnt care about any of them which led me to not give a sh*t about the film. If you cant engage me in the plight of the characters do you really expect me to enjoy the film?

Ugh I gotta go watch something fun now to get rid of all this rage!

For me it must be Troll 2 , but I kinda watched it because I heard it was so bad , so it doesn't count .

The one I can remember is Sucker Punch , I hated that movie , it made absolutely no sense to me.I like hard to get movies , but this didn't have a point . A bunch of adolescent girls with samurai swords and guns fighting bad guys , seriously?
Simply Irresistible, staring Sarah Michelle Gellar.

Bad story, bad acting, bad premise, bad chemistry... and a magic crab.

I see a lot of hate some seriously well made films here, which i have to disagree with.. Personally i loved Suckerpunch.. to me i took it to be based primarily on being a visual story, than a dialogue driven story.. and found myself sucked into all the layers of the worlds...

But that's me.. my housemate who's opinion normally parallels mine, hated it too.

Saw Tank Girl thrown in there... it was low budget, but Malcolm McDowell is too perfect a villain to hate that film. And i'm sorry, but Ice-T thrown in as killer Kangaroo hybrid is just WIN. Never did read the comics, so i can't compare the two, but loved the film.

Worst no budget film for me is S.I.C.K (Serial Insane Clown Killers). oh my god. Worth watching for stock footage thrown in, but just... BAAAAD

Another high contender... Pushing Tin. I never got through it... Macho insecure douchebag A fights for completely pathetic female character B with Macho insecure douchebag C... Barf. God i hated that film. Didn't get all the way through it. I like John Cusack and Billy Bob as a general rule, even if i don't particularly like the films they are in, but my god EVERYTHING in that film was woeful.

Most disappointing film was Matrix Reloaded. Had midnight opening screening tickets, all hyped.. and walked out sooooo flat from it, and hating the creators for cashing in. Everything was so, well.. god i don't have a word for it. And WTF WAS WITH THE TECHNO ORGY???

Hate for Scott Pilgrim, Watchmen, Kick-Ass here too... Absolutely loved everything about all 3.

I saw this movie called 9 about these sock puppets that are the last nine beings on the planet. The plot goes something like this:

"I'm alive!"

"you're alive! follow me!"
"We are the last living things on earth"

CUE EVIL KIDNAPPING ROBOT

"We should save him! I'm SUCH A BLAND CHARACTER"
"We're here to sa-WHAT THIS THING DO?"

CUE MAN THEY MEANT TO SAVE DYING BECAUSE MAIN CHARACTER IS A WORTHLESS FUCK UP

ONE ANTI-NUKE/ENVIRONMENT PSA MOVIE LATER

"We stopped the machine I powered up, a-doy, and only half of the world's sentient lifeforms are dead and of the four of us remaining two can't even speak."

THE END

the characters were so bland they might as well have been sacks with faces on them, OH WAIT

Actually, i was just in the shower and was thinking about how badly i was assraped by work yesterday, which triggered a memory of another film.

A french film called Irreversable.

It basically told the story from End to beginning.. which was an interesting notion but the cinematography was horrible, the sound direction was a appauling... they subtitled all the french into english, but neglected to translate the spanish and basically -

An interesting way of telling a story and a graphic 8 minute anal rape scene to do not equal a quallity or interesting film.

League of Extraordinary Gentleman. I don't even want to state why; just talking about it makes me depressed. And I'm not even a fan of the comics.
