Oh! That reminds me! My other worst teacher was my English teacher in Year 3. Throughout my childhood, I was a precocious child, especially where English was concerned. I was also extremely lazy, and they thought I was either dyslexic or had Asperger's syndrome, but then administered all sorts of tests and I came out as a 99.7th percentile student. However, as I was lazy, I rarely showed my talents and my love of long words, so always got low grades. When I transferred to a new school at the start of year 3, we had to submit a piece of original writing, and I spent hours trying to get it perfect, because I had a fresh start and a chance to show what I could do to a person who didn't know what I'd been like before, and couldn't judge me because of it. All day I'd been anxious to see what my grade was, because I was sure it was some of my best work. When the assignments were returned, instead of a good grade, I was shocked to see "E. See me."
I went to see her, and she accused me of plagiarism.
Later on, during a spelling test, she spelled 'government' as 'goverment'. When I corrected her, she said that I was wrong, and when I insisted that there was an n in the word, she sent me to the headmistress's office. My parents were called, and the teacher said that I had been rude and told her that she'd spelled government wrong, and said to her that there was an n in it. My parents were quick to inform her that I was right.
