...Or seen recently. Because if we can't all be brought together by love, we'll just have to do it with hate. Here's mine:

"I say, you there! Yes, you! Madam, you are a venereal disease-ridden, street-walking whore, and I shall rise from this wheelchair and trounce you thoroughly in single combat. Get thee behind me, child of the Devil!"

The way the mother is encouraging the kid, the kid's posturing, and the fact that the little dude is just joining in in the first place. The laughter is a defence mechanism; I'm a husk inside.

Not bad for a couple of minutes of YouTube searching. I suppose I'm going to find out in the space of a few replies that I have a comparatively lucky life. Anyway, I hope this thread will manage to stay on the positive side of the line, and not journey beyond the steppes of mean-spiritedness and into the moral tundra of eugenics and capital punishment.

A man was playing a slot machine and inserted a 500 kr (about $50) bil. His first spin cost him 125. His other too. His third won him about 200, but he just stayed and played that away too. THe entire thing took less than three minutes. It was genuinely unnerving.

As an educator, this hurts to watch. How can I teach kids to be good members of society when thy have parents like this? Anyway, I think this has now become the worst thing I've seen... today.

I was driving on the highway between Columbia Missouri and St. Louis a few years ago(like...5-6?) and there was a car crash in front of me. I remember seeing debris flying and a white car basically hurtling through the air, tumbling, bouncing, more or less disintegrating and crashing down with several rolls. Everyone came to a stop. And I remember getting out of my car and a truck driver walking up to me and asking how old I was. I said 20 and he asked me to just keep driving, I didn't need to see this.

So I did, but I caught a glimpse. I remember see the woman driver with her head all the way back practically resting on her back. And I mean like...90% of her neck was just gone. Didn't sleep well for like a month.

From what I could tell the car had crashed into a parked semi on the side of the road at like 70mph and the airbag hadn't deployed.

Lately? Something like this I suppose.

Less really about the subject matter, more the look of utter dejection and betrayal on the guy's face.

There's something very devastating about the expression.

Probably the dead and rotting groundhog I found on my front lawn a year or two ago.

Ugh. It it was a bird with a nice simple body structure, or it was whole, that'd be one thing.

But this was...jeez.

Seeing what looked like a bunch of decomposing internal organs and glands and stuff was just freakin' disgusting. x_x

I REALLY hope I don't see something like that again. Blech.

End of Evangelion as my first exposure to anything Evangelion.

Would not recommend. Still haven't had any inclination to pick up the series since.

Lots of stuff

-Saw two kids in a car, left alone, on a hot day, with the window rolled up, and a shopping bag that one had put over his head. I didn't think I could do anything, so I just ran for help. I'm not sure if it is good or bad that the car was gone when we got there.

-Saw a deer get hit by a truck. Most of the deer went one way, but a leg flew the other.

-There was another deer that got hit into a ditch near the stop sign by the road my family lived on. Every day we passed it, I could see it decomposing. That lasted for weeks.

-When my mom had surgery to remove blood build up near her brain (aneurism leak), a piece of her skull was removed. It was quite sickening to see the skin collapse into the skull and rest on the brain. Equally hard to see was towards the end of her life. She had been in a coma for about 16 months as a result of the blood build up, and her body deteriorated quite a bit in that time. It's not particularly pleasant to see someone that deteriorated and contorted as a result.
