I've never had any problems with people from the UK. Just mainly americans. Not all, just a handful.
I always found MGO an absolute tragedy, for me at least. I find it brilliantly fun to play, but it takes quite literally days to update, and I can't be bothered to put up with that; I did it once and then I had to do it again a few days later. It was a cruel cruel thing.Reaper195 said:I don;t play online much, so I don't have this problem. Unfortunatly, it was this kind of bollocks that made me not want to play online. There are a few exceptions, like Red Dead, MGS4. I have not found dicks on there....yet.
He could have been playing Demolition or Search and Destroy.lithium.jelly said:1) It's Xbox Live

1. I know it's Xbox Live I just find it strange that people are so openly hostile to people on a network that is supposed to be about fun and ignoring how most people are pieces of shit/how life is shit.lithium.jelly said:1) It's Xbox Live

Because gaming is srs bsns, after all. Really, it's just the practical application of John Gabriel's Greater Internet Fuckwad Theory. Or you could see it as further proof of Sturgeon's Law - "90% of anything is crap." It applies to people too.Malikaw said:1. 2. I have had the same problem playing Halo,Battlefield, and as I said earlier WoW. Although to a lesser extent as people are generally more talkative on Black Ops.
3.Search and Destroy
The Greater Internet Fuckwad Theory states quite clearly that the only valid response to internet badgering is ignore it. Feeding the trolls does nothing but make more trolls.InterAirplay said:"thick skins" is an undrstatement. "Skins the strength of a Rhino King's hide" would be nearer the mark.
I think the film "Trainspotting" helped to establish a bit of Scottish-heroin-stereotyping, though I'm not really sure how as it still enjoys more of a "Cult Classic" status than wide-spread fame, as far as I know.Andy Shandy said:I'm just saying that's what people have called me on Live combined with some of the various other Scottish stereotypes...I think it may be due to Glasgow's problems with heroin but I couldn't say for certain...like I said it was mainly combined with your typical Scottish stereotypesRationalization said:I was reading your post thinking, "stupid stereotypes." Then I saw this. I am really confused, when did heroin become a Scottish stereotype? Also, thought the sheep shagging was a Welsh stereotype. Does it go both ways?Andy Shandy said:According to a variety Xbox 360 users, I(snipped) shoot up heroin
Sheep-shagging is considered mainly a Welsh stereotype I would agree, but Aberdeen-shire area of Scotland is "known" (probably not the right word but nevertheless) for sheep-shagging as well
