It seems like this thread is meant mainly for native-English people, but..when I talk English, a few people who are native speakers have told me that I have an English accent. It's not that clearly heard though.

Ha, now while you may be able to go conouing down main street I can go 40MPH down my main street, and yes it was 40MPH, the police had a speed gun, that was so damn fun, they shut down the road for a day just purely for sledding.

But anyway just think of snow as your rain except instead of pelting you and soaking you its all nice and soft and powdery and it doesnt breech your coat, unless of course its slush, then its just discusting. Oh and the OCCASINAL hail storm can be a bit nasty, i wouldnt go outside then.
This...snow...sounds exciting. I must experience it some time.

I have an English accent, maybe even British. This is interesting since I was born and raised in Australia, I suppose there is an Australian tint to my accent but most of the words I pronounce are done in an English dialect.

I'm Canadian, but i grew up in a border town and watched American Television, so i developed alot the inflection of a Michigander.

Most people i talk to can't figure out WHAT the heck my accent is, but i do know that it drives american chicks wild :p

Had one person describe it as sound rather like an Irish brogue, but then had another tell me i sound like i'm from Boston.

I'm an alien.

I have quite a wierd accent. It's 80% South Eastern (Kent/London), with about 11% Scot and 9% Chav. This isn't helped by the fact that I grew up partially deaf and have had problems with my teeth, so I occasionally slur words and pronounce "L" as "W" unless I really make an effort to say it right (including but not limited to; stopping movement to concentrate soley on the word and closing my eyes)

I don't play with a headset/mic very much :(

The neutral Iowa nonaccent though I easily get back into my Mississippi drawl if I am annoyed, pissed, or otherwise speaking with higher levels of emotion.

I speak perfectly unaccented English, (although British Escapists might beg to differ.) and have much fun watching people try to guess where I'm from. (The guesses range from Texas to Germany)

Well, my fellow Escapists, we come from far and wide, speaking many different languages and coming from completely differet places. So, my question to you is, what is you accent, it can be anything just explain it.

Me, well i've been told I have a slight Virginian accent, but this is probably because somethimes i put accents into my talk just by pure accident. You see, I can imitate a cople of differnt accents VERY well, like if you didnt know me and I walked up to you talking in souther accent you'd beleive I was souther, the same goes for Scottish.

I can do an EXTREAMLY goo southern accent and can just start talking like it whenever I feel like it, its programed into me. Same with scottish, however I have to say a few lines to get it perfect, theni can just say anything in it. Its my gift I guess.

So my fellow Escapists, share you accent with the world.
An example would be handy. Does your accent contain Rolling R's, long L's and/or short E's?

Anyways:
When I talk English(I'm Dutch), people always mention I talk an American-English hybrid; A bit polite, with the ruggitness of American slang, plus a hard spoken 'T'(not that often, but still).

Example:
"Hey MoFo, how is it?"
or
"I can not understand what the fuck you are saying."

My accent is Scottish, aberdonian if you want to be that fussy. Although one person I met thought when I spoke I sounded Swedish. Go figure.
