I've gotten so many different results from different tests. For the most part, I've hovered around neutral-good. I like helping, and I like the rules for the most part, but I'm willing to screw the rules if I feel they're wrong.

ive always considered myself true neutral, but the quiz pegs me as chaotic neutral; which, considering my ruminations since my original assertion as true neutral, is pretty accurate. being both a consequentialist and unashamedly incredibly selfish, that makes perfect sense.

I always considered myself of the Lawful Neutral, but according to the quiz I am true neutral.

Never really cared for D&D's black and white alignment system.
Same here. I'm straight up True Neutral. I don't know how I feel about that. I mean, I'd like to have some kind of conviction about something.

Haha! That one is crazy long! I like it though! I am a Paladin...about like I expected...and still lawful good.

The better question is: Which alignment is Batman?
Do you even need to ask? Batman is definitely Chaotic Good.
But doesn't he describe himself and his role as "Vengeance" and "The Night"? He operates completely without authority, punishing anyone who dares to defy his view on how the world should work. Clearly he is Lawful Evil.
This is true, but as he justifies his world view, he is working towards, in his eyes, at least, the greater good. That's the definition of Chaotic Good: working towards a personal moral goal, regardless of the consequences. Lawful Evil is more of an Al Capone archetype: not going out and killing everyone, but working evilly in the shadows and abusing the system.

Apparently, Batman defies alignment, because he's the goddamn Batman.

True neutral is what I got.

I've always seen myself as chaotic good though, certain laws piss me off and I'm pretty outspoken, but I very rarely do bad things like kill people (well there was this one time... )

Neutral good. I'm sure that means something to some people, and the website tells me that 'neutral good is the best alignment you can be,' so that's cool.

Neutral Evil

A neutral evil villain does whatever she can get away with. She is out for herself, pure and simple. She sheds no tears for those she kills, whether for profit, sport, or convenience. She has no love of order and holds no illusion that following laws, traditions, or codes would make her any better or more noble. On the other hand, she doesn?t have the restless nature or love of conflict that a chaotic evil villain has. The criminal who robs and murders to get what she wants is neutral evil. Some neutral evil villains hold up evil as an ideal, committing evil for its own sake. Most often, such villains are devoted to evil deities or secret societies. The common phrase for neutral evil is "true evil." Neutral evil is the most dangerous alignment because it represents pure evil without honor and without variation.

--excerpted from the Player?s Handbook, Chapter 6

Sounds like good times to me.

Really I was hoping to see someone with a Kefka avatar say he got Chaotic Evil

The quiz said I'm True Neutral, but I disagree. I judge myself as Chaotic Good. I do what I perceive to be the right thing in just about all situations, regardless of personal costs and what anyone else thinks, and I'm a hardcore libertarian (almost to the point of anarchism). The discrepancy is probably because my "real" answers to ~1/4 of the questions on the quiz weren't there.

Lawful neutral... Always saw myself as more of a neutral good though, guess both apply to different degrees.

Well thats the other me. You see I have 2 personalities, theres the good one who gives to the poor and such and then the OTHER me who insults everyone in sight then punches them while laughing.
