I'm pretty sure that my ancestors were all Highland Scots, who came over to Canada 100 years ago or more

Goodness, what isn't my ancestry?

I'm part German, Irish, English, Italian, and Chickasaw, that I know of.

My grandmother informs me I can trace my blood back to Andrew Jackson. The irony of being a tiny part Jackson and a tiny part Native American is not lost to me.

I'm a pretty mixed person as far as ancestry goes. I'm German, English, and Dutch on my mother's side as well as Irish, German (again), Creek, and Chickisaw on my father's side as far as I know. I may have more European ethnicities in me but I'm not entirely sure.

Born in California, live in Florida. However, my ancestry is pure Indian. But to make it more interesting I'll say I'm 3/4ths Gounder and 1/4 Brahmin.

I live in Colorado, USA, and... well. My ancestry is *deep breath* English, Irish, German, French, Danish, Dutch, Portuguese, Croatian, Spanish, Italian, Scottish, Welsh, Mexican, and just a drop of pure-blood Aztec.

I consider myself to be Italian and Mexican, since my mum's half-Mexican and my dad's half-Italian. But really, I'm a pure-dee mutt.

I live in Wyoming, and (after taking the time to trace back my ancestry) I found that I am 1/6 Welsh, 1/6 Scottish, 1/6 Irish, and 1/2 German.

Figure that one out.

I live in the North-West of England, and I'm close to 100% English - so far as I know, at least. We've lived in the same village for generations, and were all coal miners until the pits closed.

Yep. Very interesting...

Mine's pretty mixed up. Let's see.
My father is Molucan and apparently decended from Jewish Portuegese immigrants.
My mother's father is Chinese and her grandfather (mother's side) was a German soldier.

My parents are Dutch, though both of them have traces of German and French in them.

Funny thing is that French people speak French to me, German people German, and Dutch people English..:-S

German and French. All migrated through Canada less than a hundred years ago. Yet the sonovabitch who shot at me was screaming racial slurs, claiming slavery was MY fault.

on my mums side of the family, her grandparents were Italian and Irish. and my surname is apparently Swedish. my uncle also has a condition that causes his hand to curl into a fist permenantly (without an operation), which is apparently a common genetic disorder for people of Scandanavian descent. but i consider myself British.

Let's see: Finnish ancestry to the 18th century, before that: Swedish ancestry to the 15th century. Before that: unknown, all marks point to Danish Vikings.
