I love in Jersey (the real one mind, not your knock off one) and most of my family were peasants from Ireland :)

Swedish and Finnish. My fathers parents moved here from Finland, and my mothers side is Swedish. I'm sure this goes back a fair amount of generations. My fathers family tree apparently stretches back to some guy who died in the battle of Lund.

Born in Scotland, but with varied ancestry.

Fully German on my Father's side. Don't know much about his ancestry other than that my Great Grandfather was Mayor of Berlin.

My mother is half-irish, half-scottish. Her father was half australian, but I don't know much else about his background. Her mother comes from a long line of Irish, who moved from Germany at one point or another (like to think my family came "full circle").

In other words, my skin tone is a slightly darkened version of your typical pale celtic skin, while my hair colour lies somewhere between traditional Scottish ginger, my mother's dark brown and your northern European "barbaric blonde".

Yeah, I'm pretty weird looking. But at least my accent is unique. (Although some people tell me I sound Californian. Go figure.)

From the US. Love threads like this cause I am damned mutt and proud of it.

Let's see. Mexican, Irish, Native American, French, German, and Welsh (most likely).

Us is a melting pot comment or something or other.

I live in Dublin, Ireland.
Apparently, if you trace my family line back far enough, we're related to English royalty.

I consider myself completely Irish, though.

My father's side is all Norweigan though they claim to have a smidge of Danish in there. My mother's side is half Swedish and than some bits of scottish, finnish, and a healthy dose of German.

So I am like 45% Norwegian, 25% Swedish, 5% Danish, 5% Finnish, 5% Scottish, 15% German.
And all Cop.

Though spiritually I'm also Northern Irish because my maternal grandmother died when my mom was like a year old. My mother's step-mom is Northern Irish (who has raised my mother from like age three onward). So, we've got a lot of that culture floating around.

My wife is from Lyon, France and is about 75% French and 15% English, 10% Swiss. If someone is better at fractons than I please figure out what our kids would be for me. Because thus far my plan would be just to tell them. "You're like 1/3 Norwegian, 1/3 French, and 1/3 Western Eurpoean Mutt"

Born in Yorkshire, t't best place ever.

And my family have been landowners since the Norman invasion, when we came over from Normandy or wherever the Normans are from.

And we've been in Yorkshire ever since.

Probably some other stuff in there. I hear I'm also something like 1/48th welsh. Terrible.

I'm part Viking (All man!) I'm not sure what else is in there, but most of the distinguishing characteristics come from that.
Snap! My last name actually means "Homestead" in Nordic. Look it up, I guarantee there are at least ten villages/towns in Britain that have "Toft" in the name.
I'm also part Welsh, part Lancastrian and part Liverpudlian.

Danish only, as far as I know. Would surprise me if I had something else in me, so I can almost call myself a viking descendant. :)

"Toft" is a danish word, and I think you've translated it correctly, so I confirm your story. :)
