F.E.A.R was good in the way of a "horror" game, and I haven't come across any posts on it in this thread yet.

Oblivion, GTA 4, and Crackdown 1 are my top three favorite games.
I gotta say though, Big Rigs: Over the road Racing is a close fourth.
That game has some of the most impressive vehicle physics and handling I've ever seen.
The AI is brilliant, and the tracks are startlingly realistically rendered.

The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall.

/thread.
The Elder Scrolls are very popular so it seems and I've been meaning to pick one up.
Yup, they are quite awesome. The first 3 games in the series (Arena, Daggerfall and Morrowind) are kinda unfriendly to the new user, but rewarding later on in terms of enjoyment.
There has been a "fourth" entry in the series, Oblivion... but it's not worth the name The Elder Scrolls IV. It's a good game, yes, but definitely not a good Elder Scrolls. It's more or less what I thought of Fallout "3", a good and interesting game but alas... it's not Fallout and would've been more enjoyable if they didn't pretend to be games they aren't.
So my recomendation, if you want to start with an elder scrolls game would be for you to try Morrowind or if you are feeling too overwhelmed by the amounts of freedom and the huge place you have to explore, go for Oblivion just to get kinda used to it (it won't be the same, but it helps), then back to Morrowind.

Chrono Trigger. Nice story with a lot of different factors which influence the ending. Except for pirates and ninjas there is every awesome feature included: Medieval fantasy, science fiction, dystopia, utopia, magic, evil curses, robots, extraterrestrial life, dinosaurs, etc...... All connected by time travel.

Hmm...A tie,really.
The Legend of Dragoon-PS1 CLASSIC! Solid story and characters. Not on the PSN store, however.
Final Fantasy VIII-PS1 classic. Solid story and character development, and a great soundtrack.
Garry's Mod-PC. Sets you loose in a physics sandbox to create things in the Source engine.

Goldeneye 64, i remember one map someone would camp the golden gun spawn and everyone playing would work together to get him out of there.

I thought I was the only one who liked 3D Worms games.
I was VERY dissapointed with both worms forts and worms 4 (though worms 4 was a good game) Worms 3D just sucked me in. The campaign levels were great for just deathmatch, and there were so many.

I used to play as both teams (on 1v1 matches) surprisingly, this was really fun, and it helped me train alot, and I just dominated my mates.

They need to re-release it, with online :)
