Mine is pretty simple.

~ For The Greater Good ~

Basically it means that I do everything for the greater good of everything.

1.) Honesty is not the best policy, sometimes the lie is far kinder.

2.) There is a part of you that is selfish. Never deny it, try to control it, indulge when appropriate and when there is little potential for damage to anyone.

3.) What you think is right is what you should do. You will fail far more times than you like, but so does everyone. Admit it and move on to try to do better next time.

I Always try to stay away from idealism. It's really pretty but it's useless to try to live by since no one can ever meet it.

"Good" or "Evil", "Right" or "Wrong", are generic terms that vary from people to people or society to society. It's all a matter of perspective.

Also,

Villainy wears many masks, none of which so dangerous as virtue. - Ichabod Crane (Johnny Depp)

"Treat others the way you want to be treated."

It covers all the bases.

If someone is kind to you, be kind to them back. After all, if I were going out of my way to help someone, I'd want to see a little appreciation. Just a nod or thank you.

However, if someone is being a complete asshole, then you're completely in you're right to do something about it.

If it were me being a dick, I'd want someone to intervene before I did something I regret.

That's basically how I've lived my life, it's worked out so far.

"perfection is everything."
I'm willing to destroy everything to obtain it and I won't let morals, rights or emotions get in my way.

"Remain neutral at all times" this approach has earned me my friends and made it hard to make enemies.

"Life is war, and we all lose, it's the battles that count."

In other words everything in life is about competing against others or circumstance, celebrate all your victories, learn from all battles lost(situations you don't come out on top of), and as long as you're breathing, keep up the struggle, surrender is out of the question and retreat is never proffitable... after all running away from your problems lets them build up steam and come after you again harder.

also
"Treat everyone with respect, and if you are gonna ruin someone's day make sure it's for a damn good reason and do it right."

in other words, respect is something everyone deserves on a basic level, this may be respect due to them by station, by accomplishment, or the kind of respect you give a dangerous wild animal... or if you are in charge and they're not all that bright, the respect you give a good weapon or tool...
and if you have to fire someone, or dump someone, or give them bad news, make sure you do it face to face, and don't soft coat it, people strangely take harsh truths better than prettily coated ones, it's easier to get over something when you get it straight from the get go.

I have many life philosophies and creedos, and I live by a complicated yet straight forward code, those are my main two.

So if things aren't at their absolute shittiest, then they're perfect?

OT: Don't go looking for enemies, but don't let the ones who find you steamroll you.

Leave me alone to live how I want, and I'll do the same for you.

That pretty much says it all. That's me in a nutshell.

I have two, both are quotes, one's from a movie and the second is from a book series, here they are.

"All you gotta do is to use your instincts. How do you think a lion knows how to tackle a gazelle? It's written, it's code written in their DNA, says "Tackle the gazelle." Believe it or not, in every man there's a code written that says "Tackle drunk bitches." - 40 Year Old Virgin

"I operate on one principle: you own your own life, and that means you're free to do anything you want with that life as long as you don't interfere with other people's freedom to live their lives. It means you own your own body and can do anything you want to it-pierce it, fill it with drugs, set it on fire-your call. Same with sex. As long as there's no force involved it's none of my business how you get off." - Repairman Jack

As long as it harms no-one
Do what you will

I haven't found a situation where this does not apply in my life.

This, but replace skepticism with cynicism. Which is also conveniently the description of the Key to the Tardis badge I got down there.

I keep a positive outlook on life. Some may call me an optimist. I consider myself a realist, because, well,

I have too many beliefs to sum up in one sentence, but 'Keep an open mind' would be the closest I could come. An open mind will serve you well whatever you do, and will never disappoint you.

Life is just waiting to die.

Hey, it's true.
I prefer, your existance is three things, birth, life, then death. One has already happened and one happens no matter what, so put the extra 66% into the one that matters.
