I'm with ya on the first 2, but i didn't care for the third at all. It felt too repetitive. The flood levels were just a pain, and the story went to hell.Vrex360 said:You know honarary mention goes to Bioshock, Mass Effect, Portal, Gears of War 2, Fable, King Kong, Otogi, Saint's row 2 and Oblivion....
But ultimatley for my number one game there are three candidates and by now people can probably guess what they are....
1. Halo 1: For introducing me to the nonstop action and blazing fun that is the FPS.
2. Halo 2: For a nerw perspective and helping me understand a story and it's characters.
3. Halo 3: For being the one game I've been most excited about playing in my whole life AND living up to my personal expectations.
So I'm going to have to say my favourite game is in fact the entire Halo trilogy.
I've said this a lot since joining the escapist.
Yeah it's cool if you don't like it, I mean I did like it quite a lot (though the story was definetly weaker than the others, shame too because I expected a lot from the whole 'elites as allies' thing) but if you don't like it I respect your opinion.BolognaBaloney said:I'm with ya on the first 2, but i didn't care for the third at all. It's not that I thought it was a bad game, I felt it was the weakest link in the trio.Vrex360 said:Yeah it's cool if you don't like it, I mean I did like it quite a lot (though the story was definetly weaker than the others, shame too because I expected a lot from the whole 'elites as allies' thing) but if you don't like it I respect your opinion.BolognaBaloney said:I'm with ya on the first 2, but i didn't care for the third at all. Agreed. If you love JA/JA2, you might like Sudden Strike - it's old, but might be another thing to check out.Bob_Marley42 said:Jagged Alliance 2.
Ten years on theres still nothing that beats pumping a 5 round burst of hollow points into an Alrucan soldier's head followed by manic laughter or a whitty quip from your merc. Seriously, there hasn't been a better squad based tactical combat game made since.

Which version of Tetris was it? NES or Gameboy?ace_of_something said:Untrue! My mother beat Tetris. It calls the game 'done' when you hit a certain score. When you beat it you see little Russian dudes dancing in front of buildings and they shoot off fireworks.FinalGamer said:Tetris.
