That's very true. I think its probably the best Pink Floyd album. I talk to a "Pink Floyd fan" and say, "Do you like Animals?" and they are like "...how does that song go?" *facepalm*
I've always preferred their earlier stuff - things like Point me at the Sky and Julia Dream.

I just don't think they were the same after Syd Barret lost it.

Anyway, I can't think of any single favourite album, so I'll post a few.

(Song - Artist - Album)

Desolation Row - Bob Dylan - Highway 61 revisited
Spanish Bombs - The Clash - London Calling
Redemption Song - Bob Marley - Uprising
Black Angels Death Song - The Velvet Underground - Velvet Underground & Nico
Romeo had Juliette - Lou Reed - New York
Invocation - Killing Joke - Hossanahs from the Basements of Hell
Tumbling Dice - The Rolling Stones - Exile on Main Street
Lithium - Nirvana - Nevermind
Fire Coming out of the Monkeys Head - Gorillaz - Demon Days
Supertheory of Supereverything - Gogol Bordello - Super Taranta
Ain't Wastin' Time No More - Allman Brothers Band - Eat A Peach

I have a three way tie for this one, by three very different artists.

"Suffragette City" from David Bowie's The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars
"Shelter from the Storm" from Bob Dylan's Blood on the Tracks
"Self-Destruct" from What Made Milwaukee Famous's What Doesn't Kill Us

Either

'Big Sur Moon' off of Colma by Buckethead

or

'White Walls' off of Colors by Between the Buried and Me
First off, Big Sur Moon is an amazing song. Second, I'm not too crazy about White Walls, but I love that album, it's in my top 5 of all time.

Speaking of which...

5. Pixies' Doolittle- "Debaser"

4. The Mars Volta's De-Loused in the Comatorium- "Take the Veil Cerpin Taxt"

3. Between the Buried and Me's Colors- "Sun of Nothing" (Foam Born I and Ants of the Sky made this a hard decision)

2. Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon- "Eclipse"

1. Radiohead's OK Computer- "Climbing up the Walls"

Black Sabbath's Master of Reality and the song would be Lord Of This World. Although the decision was very hard. So many different bands and albums that I like.

It's so hard to pick a favorite. I want to say Francis the Mute, by the Mars Volta, and The Widow is my fav song off it.

But then I think of Gorillaz Demon Days and El Manana.

And then I think of Pink Floyd's The Wall and Comfortably Numb.

Oh, I just can't decide. I'll have to wait until the end of the universe, when all music has been made, then I'll have to listen to it all and then, maybe, I could make a decision of what was the best ever.
