I only watched the Yu Gi Oh, on a friend's suggestion. Funny at times, but I would never say I am a fan.

I first started watching Yu-Gi-Oh! Abridged when episode 6 had just come out. I never cared for any of the others. I am one of those people who hate the others simply because they're just copied up bullshit. LittleKuriboh actually goes to conventions to promote his shit.

Yu-Gi-Oh Abridged used to be my favorite, but Team Four Star's DBZ Abridged has stolen that title.

My favorite would be Dragon Ball Z Abridged. It started off alright, but fortunately, it only got better.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Abridged went from half-good/half-annoying to good to great to awesome to slightly above average.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Abridged starts off much the same as Yu-Gi-Oh! Abridged did, but eventually became good. Then once Dio entered, it became downright awesome. Abridged Dio is easily the coolest villain of all time.

I've found that everything else is pretty terrible.

What does "Abridged" mean?


I saw some of those Yugioh videos, and they were hilarious, so I might be interested in watching them.

Everything adamwestslapdog has made (Resident Evil 4, Ocarina of Time, and Majora's Mask (in works)). Also, Sailor Moon Abridged (the good one) and Yugioh.

As far as I know, there's two kinds of Abridged Series:

  • 1. Yu-Gi-Oh abridged - Based on an anime series that genuinely needed abridging and done by a guy who is really talented in video, voice, and comedy work.

    2. The rest - Based on anime series that are less in need of abridging and generally done by imitators who don't have quite as much talent.

Not saying that you can't be amused by another abridged series, but if we're talking picking a favorite, I gotta go with the original.

Makes Sense to me, but I think soem do a good job, like Ben Ten Abridged, Naruto, and Final Fantasy X

Yu-Gi-Oh is and always will be the first and the best.

I've tried Naruto and Avatar and...well, they start out with some good ideas but I find after a while they just lack...something.
