What's your favorite apocalypse scenario?

I quite like the Skynet scenario, to be honest. Sentient killer robots rise up and threaten to wipe out all of humanity. Not the one I'd most like to see, but the one I find most interesting. Plus, I love the first two Terminator movies, so I felt obligated to mention Skynet.

Well, it starts with an earthquake. Then, there's birds and snakes. Maybe an aeroplane.
Of course, Lenny Bruce isn't afraid of this scenario.

It'll be the end of the world as we know it.
But I feel fine.

I like the viral outbreak that Steven King wrote a book about. Nothing vicious just a really lethal flu so once everyone is dead and gone I can afford to move into my own place. I don't hate people but I feel no attachment to my fellow man and my research shows 100% of all murders requires at least one other person so being alone on Earth can drastically reduces my chances of being murdered. Mauling by wild animal will drastically increase but that's what shotguns are for.

I've always had a soft spot for the Infected Zombie Apocalypse scenario a la 28 Days Later- it finally makes latent human survival skills useful and encourages track running and teamwork!

Zombie apocalypse. I can survive that one. I get to kick me some zombie ass, the worst part of that one would be the people, not the zombies. people will start goin crazy and I'll have to kill some crazy christians.
