i like the "darker" songs that they did,

I will happily explain my dislike for them if anybody wants to take it up with me.
I'm not really taking it up with you, but I'm interested to know.

She's Leaving Home. It has my favourite lyrics of all the Beatles songs.

"Picks up the letter that's lying there,
Standing alone at the top of the stairs
She breaks down."

Such a powerful image.

Love all of their songs. Lol @ the fact no one has quoted the guy at the top yet, he probs doesn't even know 10 of the Beatles songs.

My favourites are Yesterday and Let it Be.

While never a huge Beatles fan, I do know and like many of their songs. For me, it's a toss-up between "Let it Be" and "Come Together".

None of them. I really don't like the Beatles.
I know this is going to open me up to a lot of hate but if anybody tells me that I am wrong, you're point is invalid. I will happily explain my dislike for them if anybody wants to take it up with me.
oh dear...ok then, I can understand that you don't like the beatles, but saying it on a thread about your favorite beatles song...just seems a bit strange, like your daring someone too call you a idoit.
I think I may have inadvertantly trolled a little.. oops. I should have put that I don't mind Here Comes the Sun, so that would be my favourite. Other than that, I don't get the hype.

I have had so many conversations with Beatles fans that tell me that I am wrong for disliking the Beatles because they are "the best band ever." I was literally told to leave this site once, when I mentioned that I don't like them, which is a bit too extreme.
I don't mind them, and I am fine with people liking them, but it annoys me how they are put on a pedestal of untouchability. I understand their cultural significance, but I don't like the majority of their music, which is the most important thing to discuss (I think) when talking about bands.
So to summarise, I don't like the way that some followers rabidly dismiss any non-fans as wrong, just because the Beatles are so popular.
I hope that that was a fair and just argument that outweighed my initial trollyness :)

Hey it's different strokes for different folks. While I can't gurantee you wont get any hate, I wouldn't gear up for too much because, not too long ago, I described Star Trek as being generally "crap" (Although some of the movies were good!) and no-one gave a shit. I expected a tidal wave of hate but...nothing!

Hey Jude because all of it is very catchy and it's pretty exciting song. That, or A Day in the Life since I love that dramatic orchestral build-up.

I only like the most recent Star Trek film...
As I said in a previous post, I got some pretty vocal disdain once for mentioning it, so I was expecting more.

Just to clear this up, I know plenty of Beatles songs. My girlfriend is a huge Beatles fan, and always listens to them, as do some of my friends, so I am very familiar with a number of albums. Hell, I even play Beatles songs to crowds from time to time.
I will refer you to post number 29, and kindly ask you retract your LOL, good sir!

There is no possible way I could pick my favourite. They have so many incredible and worthy songs.
