None....
Never
Not a single song...

They all deserve to not be here...

The thing that is maybe MAYBE the closest to listenable is when the Muppets made a CD back in the 90's...

Or at least I think it was the 90's...
Either way, short answer: none...

Captcha: "Very Doubtful"
Oh go away, I don't like Christmas songs... I worked in retail for years, I know what torture sounds like!

I never really cared for Christmas songs to actually have a favourite. But this came to mind:

One more vote for the Pogues.

But I'd like to add Jenny Owen Youngs "Things We Don't Need Anymore" as a close second.

Anything loud and singalongy. And things from the old school musicals that are on the telly every Christmas. Nothing like belting out a bit of Oliver, or Muppets Christmas Carol, or even a song or two from the Albert Finney Scrooge. or even the ones that come on the radio.

though I suppose, if I had to choose, it would be Holly Jolly Christmas, Feliz Navidad, or Let it snow.

My mum died at Christmas time, so (in fact, yesterday was the 6th anniversary of it.) so it takes a little longer to warm up to, but when I do finally get into the season, it's a wonderful hopeful time of year.

I've gotten to the point that whenever I hear Chrimstams music start on the radio every year I instinctively get an urge to repeatedly smash my head into a very, very hard wall.

But if I had to pick any Christmasy songs that don't fill me with blood curdling rage, it would probably be the music from "A Muppets Christmas Carol". Because I still have a warm place in my heart for that movie.

As long as we're counting current stuff, I have to go with "Calling On Mary."

I'm also partial to "God Rest Ye, Merry Gentlemen" for a more classic vibe.

I'll be Home For Christmas has a whole lot of personal meaning for me that I love.
Hark the Herald Angels Sing is also a favorite of mine.
I used to love "I'll Be Home for Cristmas" but have two friends who lost family at Christmas (one lost his dad on Christmas day), so it's developed kind of a negative connotation for me. Borders on a punch to the groin,

I mean, not that I hold it against anyone else for liking it. Just...Yeah.

Maybe it's just because I'm a little warped . . . .
If it makes you feel any better, my first thought was to post Tom Lehrer's Christmas song

Not QUITE as warped as a homicidal Santa, but....Still warped.

Isn't Christmas for me untill I hear this:

There's something about I can't quite place, funny, catchy and cant help singing along whenever it comes on

That's my favorite but there's other gems, like "fairytale of New York " by the Pogues which others have linked so I won't link it again (which found out listening to the radio today if BBC radio 1 is to be believed, there is no NYPD choir and the Pogues had never been to New York when the wrote it! I've been lied to!)

Last few years I've found some ones I've liked, rare that "recent" Christmas songs, even more so mock ones will stick with me but come to like these, hardly classics but fun in their own way:

Just a selection, feeling pretty festive now after going through my Christmas music
