Well, I've seen threads for about everything else with favorite bands, so I thought I'd ask, What's your favorite fictitious band? and put your favorite song from them on. I'll give you three guesses to mine, but if you need to know

I think fictitious is a bad word for them, because they are real. They make real music. I think they're supposed to be called Animated Bands. That being said:

Best Fictional Band for me is a tie. For best name it goes to "Die! In a Fire..." for the best God Damn parody of an actual band name. They used to have some pretty good scores on Rock Band.

Best band for their actual work (I.E. Cartoon Bands) that aren't intentionally making good music (so not counting Daft Punk and Gorillaz and the like) is BECK Mongolian Chop Squad. Good, solid music. Though msot of their English songs aren't as good as the Japanese ones, I still like the cover of "I've Got a Feeling" they did.
