Spyro: Year of the Dragon is my favorite.

It gets a little repetitive towards the end, the boss fights are laughably easy, aside from the final and post final fights, and the amount of fucking tutorials makes me throw up.

Seriously, by the time we reach the second over world, WE DON'T NEED ANYMORE DAMN TUTORIALS, INSOMNIAC!

A seemingly rare occurance, but mine is also Final Fantasy VIII making three people agree, the story is nigh on full, only with a couple of little holes, and the fighting can be a little repetitive, my only real problem with it would be it's incompleteness, in area's is just doesnt feel complete, (For those who know, try looking at the Trabia Garden crater, it seems as if there should be something there, but there isnt) It's like the developers didnt get all the time they needed, they got in 99% of the game, but couldnt do it all. Also, i'd like a more expansive junction system, some more magic. But apart from all those little things, it holds up wonderfully well.

world of warcraft and resident evil 4 for me.

world of warcraft because it takes to much time to get ready for raiding, although not as much as vanilla used to.

resident evil 4 is ALMOST PERFECT but its major flow has to be ashley crying out "LEON!" everytime shes being carried away and that scream makes me want to shoot her in the face, but asides from that it made a escort quest FUN!!!

KotOR.
The only flaw it has is that you couldn't get HK-47 sooner.
See, I didn't think HK-47 was particularly good. I reckon the only real flaw of KotOR was the moral choice system. Wasn't fuzzy enough, just too easy to go pure 'evil' or pure 'good'. KotOR 2 was better that way.

Kotor... this is a hard one, I think I would of preferred more re-playability and perhaps the ability to choose dark side paths sooner rather than later.... although that would mess up the story. That is something which is kind of improved in KOTOR2, you can kind of be a dark jedi straight away while having more evil options available to you.

Prince of Persia: The Sand of Time
The game has such a wonderful story, setting and characters. The platforming is fluid and never gets old.
And the combat is absolutely HORRID.

Since "What is your favorite game of all time" topics seem to pop up here so often, I thought I'd make one of my own. But, I felt like adding alittle twist to it.

To quote Yahtzee, "I've yet to play a perfect game", and no matter how much you may love a given game, there are bound to be flaws.

So, this topic is about embracing our favorite games, both the good and the bad bits.

For me, my favorite game of all time has to be Bioshock. The setting, the atmosphere, the gameplay, the story, it all mixes together to create a truly wonderful experience. But, it's far from perfect.

The moral choice system is the biggest one. In theory, it's supposed to make each encounter with a Little Sister a dilemma, in which you have to choose between her life and your own well-being... but in practice, there's no real difference gameplay-wise between the good and evil paths, and story-wise, it doesn't really make a difference until the very end of the game.

Speaking of which, the endings (both of them), kinda suck. Not horrible, but alittle focus (i.e., no moral choice system), probably could have helped.

The invention system is also a bit of a wasted opportunity, as aside from one or two inventable items, it's mostly unneeded.

And, without spoiling anything, did Bioshock REALLY need an escort quest in there? Really?

And that's my personal beef with Bioshock. So, what are your favorite games, and your issues with them?

(Before anyone makes a comment, no, I didn't forget the hacking minigame. I honestly never had an issue with it. Alittle flow-breaking, I'll admit, but not nearly as bad as some other minigames.)
I loved Bioshock as well. I'm always a little confused by the people who hated the escort mission. Though those types of mission are never that fun, I thought that Bioshock's was probably the best and most fun one that I've ever seen.
OT: My favorites are probably Morrowind, TF2, and Portal
Morrowind - It's slow to get started and it can be incredibly frustrating how slow your character is. That's the main reason one of the first things I do is find the boots of blinding speed. The combat is also pretty meh, and the graphics haven't held up very well. Despite all that, the story is great and the world is very unique.
TF2 - I think that the sheer number of weapons and hats can get a little overwhelming at times. Other than that, I love the game.
Portal - Too short... That is all...

EVE Online, I will love it to death.

Spreadsheets, lacks ponies, lag in some fleet engagements *cough*, lots and lots of menus.

Other than all that I can say I love the hyper-capitalistic nature of the ever controversial Veldspar mining empires. Veld has feelings too and they're like space kitties.

My favorite game overall is Okami, and one of it's biggest problems is that the bosses are waaaaay to easy in it.

Shadow of the Colossus. Controls could have been better.

Ace Combat Zero. The mission where you dodge excaliburs lasers is far to hard.

A few.

Arcanum: Bugs. Also, poor balance.

Terranigma: The gameplay is just bad. I reserve a particularly large slice of loathing for the leveling and magic system.

Final Fantasy 9: The card game. Blarg.

Sacrifice: Late-game Pyro missions are impossible.

Treasure of the Rudras: Grinding 40 levels right before the final boss was fun. Only not.

Planescape: Torment: could've done with somewhat better gameplay, or just not throwing a ton of combat at me around Curst.

Touhou: It hates me. So very much.
