The part where Father Gregori (possibly) dies in Ravenholm-- the way he just fades out like that...it's like he wasn't even there.
Barring that, I'd go for what you see when you look at the bridge at the end of "Freeman Pontifex". You know what I mean...

ok I have a few:
HL2
1: The starting scene with G-Man, creepy as hell.
2: Water Hazard once you get the boat, I like vehicles it's my thing.
3: The coast, my only complaint is that they would stop interupting my drive with peddy problems like "gun ships" and "shield walls," bug off fool I just want to DRIVE.
4: The Mega Grav Gun; bliss in a glowing blue claw.
HL2:EP1
1: The Van. "oh what fun it is to ride in a van that's thrown by dog"
2: The end, it just looked so cool when the graphics are maxed out.
HL2:EP2
1: "Portal Storm" looks cool
2: when alex gets stabbed "MUHAHAHAHAHAHA"jk
3: Gman:"Their only experience of humanity was a crow bar comeing at them down a steel corridor" I loled
4: The car portion. That's driveing not stoping and killing things. and especially not the end but then it breaks and i am sad.
5: When they fix said car YAY
And that is my favorite moments of the hl series

And yeah, I love the Chapters Anticitizen One and Follow Freeman!. I play them again every once in a while. My other favorite part is riding through the Citadel. I love Combine architecture and technology.
Even though it's already been said I feel the need to say it agian Ravenholm is just plain awseome. I also like playing therw any Half life game and trying to find all the little hidden places the g-man appears like at the begening of Half-life one and you can find him talking to a scentist behind a glass window in room you can't access.
For me, probably the part where hunters first appeared, and the "What the hell, I just emptied 2 clips into it!" kind of feeling.
The car throw was also amazing. Enough unsurity shown there to be thinking of whether I'll land in the citadel, or be working my way back into it over the next bit.

In the first game it was when you came out of the tunnel to the outside. Holy crap it was beautiful, and blowing up the helicopter is pretty satisfying too.
In the second game it was the wonderfully atmospheric bridge, though the more intense hoverboat chases are a close second.
