Pizza! No really, it's perfectly fine as long as you don't overdo the cheese and meat portions. The whole food pyramid (or pie chart) in one hand.

Sushi is my favourite, Yellowtail rolls. SOoooo good.
I have never actually eaten sushi.
This is quite saddening considering I am borderline otaku.
What can one do I suppose, intolerance to fish is irritating. =(

Also, this thread is making me feel unhealthy.. =(

Passion fruit. Eggplants. Heart of Palm (probably the noblest part of any vegetable, and one of the few things that make Brazil worthwhile).

I also love tenderloin medallions, almost raw, with just a pinch of marine salt and a drip of sriracha. Lean red meat is very wholesome, when eaten appropriately.

Sushi. I can make it myself, but I normally just buy it.

Also, I love fresh strawberries, natural yoghurt, and bubble tea.

Mmmmmm....

Too many! I'd probably be the healthiest person alive if I didn't also love junk food so much :p

Sushi and sashimi are big favourites of mine. All of the summer fruits: mangoes, peaches, nectarines, apricots, bananas etc. Stir-fried vegetables, steak, chicken, anything!

... I think I might be hungry.

While I dislike some raw vegetables (I wouldn't eat a raw carrot to save my life) I really like steamed vegetables, especially broccoli. This summer, my favorite was sliced eggplant prepared with some olive oil. It's supposed to be healthy although it's really rich in nicotine (but negligible when compared to a single cigarette). I should probably eat more healthy food cause I'm not really picky, just lazy.

I don't eat much in the way of health foods, but I actually really like those quaker rice cakes. Just the lightly salted ones.

I can't say that I like any of them. I put up with them. Cauliflower & broccoli just makes me gag though.

Okay, here's one of my favorite meals for you: Stuffed peppers.

Cut the top of a red pepper, and hollow out the inside. Fill the inside with couscous and little chunks of cheese (Cheddar works, but Mozzarella is better), go easy on the cheese though, as it's the most unhealthy part. Don't fill it all the way to the, leave about half an inch empty.

Put the top of the pepper back on like a lid, then bake in the oven at 180°C until the pepper is nicely roasted (It won't take long, maybe around 10mins). While it's in the oven, quickly make yourself up a nice side salad (Go easy on the dressing, need to keep this healthy). then when it's done, take off the "lid" and cover the top of the filling with a layer of hummus. Put the lid back on and enjoy... best enjoyed with a glass of white whine : )

As for things to snack on, most of the obvious one's have already been said. But I do have a couple of additions for you. Sweetcorn is great, it fills you up, but so long as you swallow it whole, your body can't break it down, and it will come straight out the other end undigested. Tasty food, and no calories (Although it is kinda gross if you think about it too much)

Grapes have already been mentioned, but what's been missed is freezing them, it sounds crazy, but try it. Freeze them overnight, then get them out around 10 mins before you want some to let them thaw a little. They get kinda crunchy and cold, and some how this only makes them more tasty, especially on a warm summer day.

Coffee works great as an appetite suppressant, so drinking plenty of that can help keep things under control as well.

Finally, once a week have one meal where you eat whatever you like without worrying about it. If you try to stick to a really rigid diet, it' easy to under up getting a bit depressed about it, especially if your missing all the old no-healthy foods. By having one quilt free meal a week, it means you're less lightly to slip up (Cos you have something to look forward to) and it means you won't end up missing it so much that you end up going on a massive binge.

Good luck with your continued health eating : )

Steak, trust me when I say a good steak now and again is the healthiest thing for a guy like me, I don't tend to eat enough meat, and need more in my diet, so i been adding mainly chicken, since i started eating more beef, generally steak my mood has risen significantly and I've had more strength, also it tastes soooo good when I make me a steak grilled perfectly seasoned perfectly... mmm... but yeah not too much but a good amount is a great way to keep certain systems in your body working properly.

Least in my research, and trust me, I've DONE research, changed my diet so many times in so many ways, my energy flags badly, I feel weaker and I start getting depressed to a seriously worrying degree if I cut meat outa my diet, yeah you CAN supposedly replace it with soy, or vegetable proteins, but that never worked for me when I did it...

So escapist favorite healthy foods?
Perhaps the question should've been 'so Escapist's favourite health foods?' Any popularly perceived healthy food will be unhealthy when consumed in excess. Hell, people have died from drinking too much water.

My favorite healthy food....grapefruits....I guess?
Good grief, I still don't get how anyone can like them... how do you deal with the sourness?

OT: There're a lot that I like, I mean seriously, a lot...

Fruit-wise, I (like many before me...) love mangoes, but also, pineapples, strawberries, apples, clementines, pears and peaches (just ahead of nectarines, kiwis, plums and bananas).

Vegetable-wise, I like cucumbers, sweetcorn, broccoli, Chinese leaf and bean sprouts.

Otherwise, damn but Greek yoghurt with honey makes a good breakfast!

Ceviche de camaron, which is a dish of shrimp, citrus, onions, tomatoes, and some spices served cold, is my favorite meal. The shrimp is cooked by the citrus juices.

I also enjoy cold smoked salmon. Pad Thai is quite good as well.
