What do you like to do other than play games, program games, hack games.

Mine would be probably Boating, specifically Kayaking.
high five!
kayaking is awesome. IMHO, kayak camping and expeditions are the best.
rock climbing is also fun.
What kind of kayaking do you do? I typically go on lakes or ponds and occasional a river nothing to extreme.

same here mostly. so far, the only camping i've done was setting up a tent at a campground by the water and spending all day kayaking. haven't really been able to fit a REAL expedition into my schedule. rivers are great to kayak on, but I'm gonna say river rafting is about equally fun.

Hunting/ shooting seems to be a big one with crowd, not gonna lie, that really surprises me. To me hunting is a sport reserved to the out-doors man who couldn't care less about video games. But that might be a stereo type because my brother hunts and shoots and he couldn't care less about the electronic world

Dungeons and Dragons if that doesn't count as 'related to gaming'.

I read and write a lot, but sometimes I get paid for it so I don't know if it qualifies as a 'hobby'.

find a friend and buy 2 kendo sticks.
as long as you both have a vague idea of how to do it, it's the most fun you can have with wood.
it can hurt quite bad on occasion.
I've done exactly this. My friend and I have been sparring for years. Endless welts and bruises, but damn is it fun.
Also, they're called shinai. No need to thank me, I live to enlighten.

My favorite hobbies outside of gaming include reading manga and building Gundam models.

Writing or sleeping. Unfortunately, I don't find enough time for my writing. Mostly because it is spent sleeping which I do enjoy immensity.

I like biking, for transport and for long periods of time and long distances. Biked to Duluth from where I live in Minneapolis with some friends in the summer. Good trip.

...Well, movies, TV, anime and music listening are all roughly classified under the 'entertainment' type of hobbies...

...I guess then a hobby would be model building. To be more specific, I'm fond of lego models. They're simple, fun and best of all, subject to creativity and extra additions.

Seriously contemplating picking some up again soon, just not sure what I'd want to go with.

Oh, I guess another hobby would be my pet card (dogs to be specific). They're real shitheads most of the time but occasionally, playing with them is a lot of fun as well as just being affectionate and either having them lay between/behind my legs on the couch/chaize or lay on me. That occasional closeness is comforting.

I only wish we had a nice and big backyard for them to play in and be able to 'burn out' all their excess energy on, they're confined to this apartment and one of them has more than enough energy for the both of them.

Also, I 'seriously' want to pick up archery again someday...

Music. I compose a bit in my spare time, and I like to play trombone or guitar when I get the chance.

My favourite hobby by far is martial arts, especially boxing. For me, it's the greatest form of competition. Strength, speed, skill, strategy, and determination. All those things are needed to succeed. I love the feeling I get when a round of sparring's about to end and I go into "desperation mode" so to speak - that is, I'm drenched in sweat, gasping for breath, but still relentlessly barreling down on my opponent with a barrage of punches.

Ballroom and Latin American dance. I've been dancing for over two years now, and I might enter competitions later on, once I deem myself ready.

I read, or should that be using the internet, but when I'm on the internet I'm usually reading stuff, so I'm going with reading.
Yes reading, how I do enjoy reading so very much.

Does serial womanizing, adventuring, and just generally adding to my legend count as a hobby?
