Fermium is the best kind of metal. Exactly 100 protons and it's named after Enrico Fermi, who also has the lab Fermilab named after him, which holds the largest particle accelerator in North America and which I've visited once!

I like silver, mainly because it's shiny, and expensive.
Platinum is also quite nice.

Scrap metal is in my opinion the most underrated metal.
