Silver.

It looks good AND can kill vampires!
Silver bullets kill wear wolves, but I'm sure you could kill a vampire with a bit of silver if you hit it hard enough.

Personally I like Trivium cos it's a metal band that actually sounds like a real metal. It's a shame that that particular metal appears to have lost a lot of it's strength as its got older, but as it's only recently been discovered, who knows what it might turn into in the future...

At first I thought you meant 'Metal' like the music genre. I guess I like Gold because its worth a lot of money.

Oh, and welcome to the Escapist.
I was the opposite, i thought it was metal as in the material but some people thought of music haha.

I'd say titanium. A: its a very useful metal B: it has some great properties and C: it has a cool name "titanium" it sounds futuristic

EDIT: I'm surprised more people haven't said silicon considering how much we rely on it for electronic boards

Aluminum cause its shiny and super maleable, and that sound (sans headaches)
Really any shiny metal is good, which is alot of them, but not many come in rolls.

Mercury, hands down... no contest, it even looks like it would taste good if it were edible.

I believe that's werewolves. Ah, what the hell - they're both awesome.

Wow, I really didn't think anyone would bother posting on this thread. What a suprise! I'm suprised that more people didn't pick any of the Alkali metals, react so violently, or many of the metals over on the side under the non-metals near the metalloids.

Yay for mercury and copper and chromium! Copper's a pretty colour itself and so are many of its complexes (and v. useful in electronics). Chromium also has very pretty complexes. Mercury is a liquid metal with a variety of uses; it used to be used in the hat-making business and the mercury fumes send the hatters cuckoo hence the saying "mad as a hatter". Also, you can dissolve gold in mercury, so mercury WINS!
