Over the years Legend of Zelda has enticed us with fun gameplay, a cornerstone in gaming icons, and some really great music. It's almost safe to say that the entirety of these games revolve around music, but there's one song from the franchise that we love above others. That one song where you might dust off your old N64, plug it in, put in a Zelda game, than run to the area where your favorite song is. But which one is you perosnal favorite? Mine is Gerudo Valley from Ocaraina of Time, it sounds really cool once you translate the score from pixelatd noises to guitar(if anyone wants, I'll post the chords just quote or pm me). I remember one time I was with my buddy and I started playing the chords to Gerudo Valley and than he picked up my brother's electric guitar and started soloing to it, it eneded up sounding like some kinda Van Halen song or just sheer epicness! So what was your favorite Legend if Zelda song? Please state the name(if you can't find the name, post the location), the game, and why, also feel free to post the actual song.

Also one more thing: why an ocarina? Why not trumpet or flute maybe something like that? What was significant of the ocarina? It's annoying because every time I hear ocarina I think of the macaraina... (hey macaraina)

The Gerudo Valley one is good. But my favorite is either the classic overworld theme or the first song from this (SO SOOTHING):
And at 4:00 you can hear the Gerudo Valley theme while you are at it.

Wow, I saw this thread posted just as I finished my first session of Playing OOT on my shiny new 3ds. (Beautiful by the way).

Difficult, either the main overworld theme or Gerudo valley.

Because no other game music ever makes me fell like this.[footnote]Except maybe Chrono Trigger[/footnote]

Perfect blending of the Wind Waker's theme (my favourite game in the series, to boot) with the classic series theme, the ocean theme [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gN_x1rpGbY8] and Zelda's Lullaby [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_qPtuOfQbyI].

Not to mention the gorgeous orchestrated version from Zelda Reorchestrated [www.zreomusic.com/]

I actually listened to this song and I fell asleep to it. It's like a lullaby.

You're asking me to pick? What are you, evil?

Dragon Roost Isle, Zelda Main Theme, and Molgera Boss Theme are the first ones that come to my head.

Can often be overlooked since it's not a song in itself in OoT, but sounds amazing

Edit: Also all the warp songs in OoT I love equally, they're not shown enough love either :>

I love the sense of adventure this track gives off. Song of Storms comes in a close second, there are some amazing remixes of it aswell.

despite how much I hate the soundtrack of every single Zelda game out there, I gotta say, I truly love the Dungeon theme from the original one, especially the remix for the Mobile remake

note: I'm not saying the Zelda games soundtracks are bad, they are really good themselves, but I found them completely unappealing for my personal tastes, enough to mute the TV while playing
