What's Your Favorite Musical?

Avenue Q is my favorite that I've seen. 'Everyone's a little bit racist' is my favorite song from it though I probably listen to It sucks to be more.

I really want to see book of mormon. Not living near New York and having shows sold out is making this very difficult (if my friends got tickets I would forsake other duties to go). The soundtrack is amazing 'I believe' always has me laughing.

Does Doctor Horrible's Sing Along Blog count?

It absolutely does. I'm not sure if that's my favorite though, I grew up with musical theater. Les Miserables was pretty fantastic, as was Miss Saigon and Evita. Phantom is good, but it's overplayed and I'm sick of it. The theatrical releases of Chicago and Sweeney Todd are both better than the stage versions to my mind.

It's a hard call, to be sure. Avenue Q is pretty great too. South Park was so tremendously well done that it's hard to disqualify it... I still think I prefer Dr. Horrible though. Damn hard call.

The Wall, definently The Wall. One of the most disturbingly beautiful films ever. aand the music kicks ass!

I can't believe no one said "The Book of Mormon." I really expected that, especially given that Mat Stone and Trey Parker were behind it.
