Favorite? Well i like to think my favorite is both my in game pokemon and real life one. That is to say if they were real which wouldnt you mind having. (example i dont want gengar he will eat my dreams,)
I havent played past pokemon crystal all those years ago but my favorite since my first pokemon game (pokemon yellow) its always been kadabra. Powerful S.Attk stat so hes a powerhouse. He can learn recover, replenishing half his hp. If your attakcs dmg more than half so that he cant recover fast enough he has barrier to shield from P.attks and reflect for S.attks.
Sure this means he only has one attack (probably psy beam since u can cast it 20 times). But hes an attrition master just as a tactician should be. He has that chinese tactician mustache so...tactician.
You can choose not to build him that way and just keep all his attacks and hes still great.
An important feature for me however is, were pokemon real hes not a bad pokemon to have. He woudlnt electricute you, he wouldnt eat you in your sleep. He's intelligent like a person and communicates to you telepathically. He sees the future so he will have all kinds of things to tell you. At worst you will have to keep replacing your spoons and forks.
