Cinnamon Bread freshly baked. It's like sex, without all the work. I don't know if that analogy works, but whatever.

a girl i work with wears a certain perfume that i cannot get enough of. we are friends and i have told her i love her perfume so it is slightly less weird when i walk up to her and smell her, still a little creepy though. i think she is still flattered by it. that and this coconut oil/butter/chapstick/gluestick thing a friend of mine has. i used to sniff it like it was cocain.

Mine: ginger snap cookies, bacon,a cold glass of milk, seaside air, bacon, clean laundry, my old cologne (Chrome), did I mention bacon?

My wife's: Japanese cherry blossoms, vanilla, freshly painted canvas, orchids and hibiscus flowers, home-made wontons (cream cheese and crab stuffing with peanut sauce. Completely awesome).

The smell that comes after rain on a hot day. I don't know what it is about that smell, but I friggin' love it.

Edit: quote, i don't know how i missed it
I know one better thing, the smell after a thunderstorm.. The air outside feels so pure and clean when you get that..

Certain brands of shampoo, cigarettes, home made curry while it's cooking, Thatcher's Katy Cider, hashish being smoked out of a pipe with no tobacco in there, the smell of a new vinyl, the smell of a new video game (seriously, open a new case and get a whiff of the manual, there's certain games that have a manual that's made out of a more texturally rough sort of paper, feels more like thin, thin card than paper, and it smells incredible, metroid prime always reminds me of this,) clothing that smells of a loved one, freshly mowed grass..

I really like the smell of patchouli. That tends to be the only kind of incense I buy when my room needs to not smell like a nerd's room.
I also love the smell of new shoes. That wierd new rubber smell is fantastic. If they had a "new shoe" air freshener, I'd have three hanging from my rear-view mirror.

The smell of a Subway (the restaurant)

A warm, Salty Sea Breeze

Seafood Chowder

The smell of a summers evening, the grass, the heat, the moisture.... ahhh

now if you will excuse me, my first sentence has made me hungry...

My two favourite smells were the OP and first reply. Bummer.

But I also enjoy the smells of medium-rare Alberta steak, freshly cut grass in the morning, gummi bears, my pillow and blanket, my hair, my brother's spaghetti sauce with garlic and onions, the inside of a new car with a leather interior, and a new book.

I already know I'm weird; you don't have to point it out.
