Polygon is where I go for features and news. I like the articles and videos on the Escapist, and I do use their news, but I feel bad because it's often incorrect/copy-pasted. I think they've got good people working on it, but as a feeder site they don't necessarily have the drive to wikipedia the facts etc. Polygon seems to be aiming for transparency and high standards and so far I haven't seen any gaping holes.
Also Superbunnyhop has some good features, although I think it's a two man affair. (Same goes for BlueScreenOfAwesome)
