Whats your favourite faction based game

My favourite is definetly S.T.A.L.K.E.R Clear sky
I am also looking for faction based games beacause they are just awesome IMO

Just Cause 2, mainly because it's fun to see the leaders of the factions seem to try to get into your pants.

I should probably stop blurting that out, but it's so much fun from a mindless actioney perspective. The game can be completed doing like only one faction mission, but I'd say they're pretty integral to gamplay (or are at least supposed to be.)

I personally didn't like any of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games, but I was mildly impressed by FarCry2 and it's factions. Actually, I'm probably just not that into factions in games.

Well RTS games let you choose armies/factions
I love RTS games

But in a 1st person shooter I love rolling with factions

I guess it could count if you wanted it to

Mount & Blade Warband. The reading gets a little tedious, but it's faster than cutscenes. I don't really play the game for the factions, though, I play for the awesome Medieval combat!

Probably Mercenaries POD: The first, not that shitty pile crap they call a sequel. I especially enjoyed loading gunships full of faction troops and dropping them into their enemy's territory and seeing how long they last

Borderlands would have made a great faction game with the gun companies.

Otherwise Fallout New Vegas is turning out to be cool.
