That's pretty sweet!
The guy who did it has basically laid claim to that arm. I'm planning on getting the entire thing done up RE2 style (the best game anyway, even thought that is the Umbrella Chronicles logo).
Awesome, I loved RE2 - the first survival horror game I played.
Any idea what you're going to get done, specifically?

Favourite game series?

I can't say the Elder Scrolls, as I've only played Oblivion and a bit of Morrowind.

So I'll go with Mass Effect. Although it will be Dragon Age when the 2nd installment comes out.
Both of them have amazing story and characters I care about.
I was upset in ME2 when
Ashley didn't want to join my team, and hated me because I was working with Cerberus.

I'm also a sucker for pokemans. :)

Ya but you better be 100% good or bad or belse you CANT MAKE those choices. Broken ass moral choice system. decent game.

OP: Dam thats hard. Do i go with The Starcraft series for being the pinnacle of gameplay and competitive gaming? Or do i go with final fantasy as its never had a single bad game (FF6 was kinda bleh though) and always has an amazing story every single time.

So hard to pick. I cant. just cant. Armored cores up there to....

Oddworld, Ratchet & Clank, Assassin's Creed and Crash Bandicoot.

I can't live without them.

EDIT: And you can add the C&C franchise up until after Red Alert 3, the Elder Scrolls games, and Resistance to this list.

Well, as is my usual answer, Touhou! Why, I'm not sure. It's just something that just stuck since I first played it.

Im just interested in what you guys think as this discussion has been really prominant with me and my friends recently. To get the ball rolling I have to say mine has to be The Legend of Zelda, you may say thats a highly obvious choice or you may disagree with me but hell I have been playing it since I was young and its provided years of entertainment.
So what about you guys?
i have to agree with you the Legend of Zelda game i find fun. the one exception is wind waker. the one part that killed the game to me is the hunt for the triforce pieces. but the good part is it gave motivation to beat the oracle games and links awakening for the first time. Then ran out of zelda games and started playing pokemon crystal. to my surprise play a pokemon game is more fun then that crappy scavenger hunt.
cant say i agree mate, windwaker's my favorite game in that excellent series. crisp visuals that look look as great today as back then, heck better since we've been inundated with so called realistic brown worlds. i mean that endless blue, those little shadows in the distance that could just well be the next island, the wind itself! just wow so lovely. a great story that respects the backstory but dose not root itself to it,equal parts sad, heartwarming, liberating and completely bonkers! haha enough enough sorry about the speech, i just love that damn game, and yeah fuck greedy tingle

It's honestly one of two for me that I can't pick between.

Romance of the Three Kingdoms
or
Way of the Samurai

Something about the slight realism, ability to create your own character, just appeals heavily to me.

Seriously no game has made Create-a-characters seem more fluid then those two game series.

probably the starwars: battlefront games, the second one in particular was outstanding.

Video games making a late entry into my life, I really don't have much nostalgia for games like Zelda, mario, metroid, and such classics (though, I appreciate them and see why they are classics).
So with that disclaimer aside, I am going to say "Assassin's creed". I haven't seen a gaming franchise that uses squeals so well, and I have yet to grow tired with jumping over ancient rooftops.
Assassin's Creed and Mass Effect are my top two and I would have a really hard time choosing between the two. I can (and have) spent an entire day playing these games. A close third would probably have to be the Prince of Persia: Sands of Time trilogy, followed by Kingdom Hearts 1 & 2.

Assassin's Creed. Mind-blowing when you first play it.
Especially if you're into conspiracy theories, ideology, stealth games and sci-fi.

Became my replacement for Prince of Persia and Splinter cell. Best of both worlds, I guess.

And I forgot about Star Wars Battlefront!!! Those games were amazing and also games I've wasted an entire day playing. Also worth mentioning, as someone else above me already did, are the Crash Bandicoot games. Specifically Warped.

Xenogears/Xenosaga 1-3.

While the gameplay varies from game to game (from great to dull, from awful to awesome) it has one of the most interesting, indepth, and truly expansive plots ever told. Not ever told in videogames; ever told period.

Playing Xenogears was wonderful. Playing it again after playing all the way through Xenosaga was better.

All time favorite videogame series.

That is going to be bloody impossible to answer...

Among platformers: It's a toss-up between Metroid and Mega Man X.

Among RPGs: Suikoden (and this is SOLELY because of it being a contiguous series rather than an individual title. Baldur's Gate is right here too, though I consider BG1 and BG2 to be so directly contiguous that they are one long, epic game. The Suikoden games have lore continuity, yet they can stand on their own merits)

Among niche' series: Either Armored Core or Starsiege: Tribes.
-Customization, flight, and genuinely unique gameplay.

I didn't cite any shooter series, because my preferences would require individual games rather than a series.

Dont get me wrong I love wind waker and your absolutely spot on with the stunning visuals and brilliant story etc but the mad run around to get the triforce is the one thing that stopped a lot of people I know enjoying the game :/

Id have to say the metal gear series. Every game in the series if amazing in my opinion ( though number 2 is a bit less so) The story is the greatest I've seen in a series and the bosses are hands down the most unique in any game.
A close second is the final fantasy series though a couple are terrible.

Legacy Of Kain Series, I'm actually planning to get a tattoo of the Razielim clan symbol on my ankle.
