it's handheld gaming system not console , but mine is the second gen gameboy the first ate batteries and the one that use AAA batteries pissed me off dam things were costly
I guess it would be a toss up between the gameboy advanced, DS Lite, and the PSP. These are the only handhelm systems that could and would occupy my time for hours on end, like an actual console.
Speaking of which, I can't wait for the release of the new golden sun for the DS :]
The first gameboy. Otherwise- it would have been the Gamegear that I got after my gameboy. I miss the classics.
Crap- I love the old Game & Watch units as well , I had the snazziest little orange and copper-plated Donkey Kong panic game... which I'm now sure that if I had kept it - would probably fetch a pretty price in another few years.
when i was 11 i went on a school trip to holland and with me i took my trusty game gear. i didn't think it'd ever be beaten regardless of graphics however i took my psp and final fantasy crisis core on holiday with me this year and couldn't put it down!
My favorite handheld has to be the first one that I bought, the Original GameBoy with Tetris. Looking back it was a grey brick, and ate up batteries, but it was so much fun, and it is the reason why there are PSP's and DSi's today.
the fold-up GBA was the shiz. Mainly because it was SMALL. I even had the mini-GBA as well, but that was too small and sold it in sheer fear that I'd end up breaking it.
Memories of Harvest Moon, Columns Crown and Final Fantasy Tactics Advance... good times.
Dsi,bring on the hate,I'll love it.although I have some fond memorys of spending Years on blue using the GBpocket.years on the same name, mind you know.
DS Lite. All the best elements of a GBA and a DS in one portable package. I still play my GBA games on the DS, in addition to playing DS games like Fire Emblem, Mario Kart, and FFTA2.
