Star Wars (need to keep up my nerdy appearance) and In Bruges (the best movie no one has ever seen).
I've seen 'In Bruges', and it is possibly one of the greatest dark comedies I've ever seen. When everything came together at the end my mind was totally blown.

EVERYONE should see that film. Except maybe kids. Or the easily offended.

How about you both settle at the midpoint that both of you are assholes.

1) for starting a flame war and 2) continuing it.
The point I was trying to make when I said "Terrible thread" was that it has no substance to it. It's just a list, not a discussion.

But yes. We're both assholes, and what's more I'm a hypocritical asshole for decrying a thread I actively contribute in. Night all.

thread's been done a billion times, but Fight Club. Also I'm surprised district 9 has gotten this many posts. I mean i thought it was ok, but it was far from my FAVORITE movie

Yay! Someone else is aware of that movie other than me! :D

And what do mean kids shouldn't watch it? I thought it was the perfect kids movie.

Hey, it's another one of these threads - yeah, well, I'd have to say Dr.Strangelove. Just so awesome, but a lot of the movies I've seen in this thread are fantastic. Picking a favourite is just so damn hard.

Fight Club. It changed the way I look at things. Also, Pulp Fiction (Or anything related to Quinten Tarentino)

I have many favourite films across most genres but my single favourite would have to be The Last of the Mohicans. Great story (great book as well - James Fennimore Cooper), brilliant action, epic musical score, terribly sad but also uplifting. Beautiful landscape as well.
