We have the same number 1 but I would have moved Bayonetta higher... and I didn't really like Heavy Rain... I just don't like the idea of an "Interactive movie" the idea just doesn't sit well with me...<.<

Do you REALLY have to ask?!

A VERY close second is Mass Effect 2. If Red Dead Redemption didn't come out this year then it'd have been ME2 all the way. But Red Dead came in and blew me away.

Awesome year and 2011 is shaping up but be awesome too.

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood! Although story-wise It didn't really add anything new, the new gameplay additions and the Leonardo machine missions made this game really fun! Also, I was a bit skeptical that the multiplayer aspect would ruin the series, but as soon as I played it my skepticism immediately went away. Ubisoft really did an awesome job with the multiplayer; the gamplay is really innovative and the stealth aspects make it really awesome!

Though I gotta say Just Cause 2 is pretty damn fun. It just lacks the depth I require of a GOTY.

I expect to get some games for Christmas, but as of right now, Just Cause 2.

Ditto'd so freaking hard.

cant decide between red dead redemption and new vegas.
both is great games, both with new dlc (new vegas upcomming)
ive played them with equal ammount of time. i became obsessed with fallout ever since i play fallout 3 (first fallout game i played(dont you come bitching at me)) and when played RRD i was truly amazed by the story and gameplay (graphics doesent realy matter to me).


BUT there are these two other games i also have in mind
Heavy rain and minecraft (i think it came in 2010 :S)

I havent acctualy played heavy rain but i watched the walktrough (almost like watching a movie)
and minecraft realy let my mind FLY i have a great time building stuff.

So if i get to choose all of those ill have to say:

RRD, FNV, Heavy rain and Minecraft is my gameS of the year

Red Dead Redemption. It had deep characters, a huge open world, decent multiplayer,an awesome story and a devastating ending which left me very satisfied.
