Mine is currently 'It's not over yeah!' by The Klaxons, but mine once went off in Geography years ago, and it was that purple dragon song. (Not Spyro... I can't remember it's name, but it was like Crazy Frog).
Embarrassing times.

I join the ranks of people who use default rings for their ring tones and express nothing but disgust towards anyone who uses anything other.

My cell phone rings to the battle music from Chrono Trigger. I challenge anyone to out-nerd that.
I'll take that challenge. My text alert is the transformation noise from Transformers.

I, like Dim from the Super Flash Bros., have the zelda theme as my ringtone.

The codec sound from the Metal Gear solid series. I didn't play the series but damn it does make a good ringtone.
How did you get that?

If my current phone supported MP3 files, it would be the guitar solo for One Winged Angel by The Black Mages. As it is, I have to settle for a .midi of Call Me by Blondie.

For eight whole years, my ringtone has been the same... well, apart from a couple of weeks when I got my current phone and the midi version didn't transfer across so I had to wait until I got home to find the CD and put it on there in mp3 format.

The piece of music in question? 'Julia' from Final Fantasy 8, as heard in the first dream sequence. This, in fact:

Im not really a big fan of anime, but i do love Megaman, and the song is actually really good (both versions)

Which geeky ringtone? The end credits song of season 1 of Eureka? Or the samba-version of 'Still Alive' that plays from every radio in portal?

Oh, or my personal favorite! The chorus to 'Oh No You Didn't', the tune from the commercials for Mercenaries 2: World In Flames whenever an administrator from my school's calling. (The Savannah College of Art and Design does not exactly pride itself on customer service.)

(Also, on a less geeky but still amusing note, I've got 'Rock Me, Sexy Jesus' from Hamlet 2 to warn me I'm being called by an annoying person.)

EDIT: But what I really want is the codec call sound from the MGS series!

The Ballad of Black Mesa [http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=nTbL5elVXrU], by LitFuse Films. If I had a celly. So long, suckers! (Runs away cackling about roaming fees or something)
Not for long! -kicks you in the back of the knee-
I run too fast. Also too tall to be kicked in the back of the knee.

I wore stilts.
I stand up and give one a good punch. I've built up an immunity to pain.
