if i had a more current cell phone, i would definitely use the Codec Ringtone from Metal Gear Solid.

I use the random pokemon encounter as my ringtone at the moment, some guy once yelled you shouldn't of walked out into the tall grass when I went to the park the other day when my phone went off.

My ring tone presently is the Mario Bros. Underground theme, and my text message ring tone is just a random assortment of Zelda sound effects from the NES and SNES.

Back when I had Nextel I had Voodoo Child(slight return)by Jimmi Hendrix as my ring tone. Now I've upgraded to Verison and have two primary ring tones. The Overture of 1812, and Zero's theme from Megaman X. Both of which I put on there myself.

Nothing makes me happier than to get a call, and be rewarded by an awesome opening sound (seriously, listen to the song, you will know what I mean.) and the joy that people will be wondering who the hell would put Metal (I think that's their basic genre) on their Cell.
