Are we talking about what really scares you or what you are afraid of as in you couldn't stand it to happen?

For the latter one: I want people to remember me, not being forgotten as if I had never existed.
But I couldn't say what scares me in real life... I'm afraid of heights, does that count?

Losing my mind. I'm not afraid of most things, but the possibility of living out my days after having a stroke, Alzheimers, dementia, or other sort of brain damage frightens the shit out of me.

Heights/Falling - I used to have reoccuring nightmares where all I was doing was falling. And when you're meant to hit the bottom and die, you wake up.

Drowning - Same sort of problem, except that I almost drowned twice when I was little. When I was five I fell into the family pool while hitting my head, luckily my older brother jumped in and saved me. I got caught in a rip when I was seven along with my cousin. We had no parental supervision, we were told not to go into the water while the flags weren't up...we were disobedient. My dad came down to check on us, he fished my cousin out of the water first as she was closest and by the time dad got to me my head was under the water.

Becoming old, developing dementia, and shitting myself all day long. Or dying and then shitting myself. 'hey, did you know that Steve died?' 'Yeah, I heard he crapped his pants right after he did!' (seems to be a pattern here)

Being touched. I've been known to punch people if they touched me.

I have just discovered this recently but driving while the driving instructor criticizes you.

I'm learning how to drive and apparently I'm horrible.

Its nothing worse than being an already weak driver and have some one tell you so.

I was taking it all in, but I was shaking by the end and that made it even worse.

My greatest fear can be neatly summarized as "People".

The sheer, mind-boggling stupidity of the average human terrifies me.
