A good date should be day/month/year, or year/month/day.
Month/day/year is stupid.
I disagree, it's should be m/d/y, that is how it's spoken. Today is September twenty-sixth, two thousand thirteen. But for cataloging purposes, year, month, day is best.
OT:
It really depends, for myself, my girlfriend and I have been dating for years, we are very serious. So a good date for us can be anything from picking up chinese food and watching a movie at home. Or it can be going out to Vancouver, walking around Stanley Park, go to a nice restaurant for dinner, then maybe seeing a show or a movie in the evening.
I guess for the first date, a good date is any date that gets you a second date. I feel that a good first date is something that gives you time to talk, going for coffee, maybe a walk in the park. Or out for dinner, and see a movie after. A good date should be fun, you should be relaxed and get to know the person. Also a good date should not involve an activity that only one person really enjoys, unless there is a 2nd activity to follow which the other person enjoys.... I say no more =p
