Clive Barker's Undying and System Shock 2. My computer is too powerful for them. :/
Undying is totally playable on modern PCs. I installed it a few months ago to show a friend why it was no.1 on my "scared me to hell" list.
As for my own contributions:
In the "It will never get released" category, which really shouldn't fit in this discussion, but still:
- A new space combat sim that's at least as good as Freespace 2 and X-Wing Alliance
- Battlefront 3
Moving on to serious categories:
Under the "I never owned the console" category:
- Black: Haven't owned a console since the SNES so a PS2 game is totally out of reach. Unless I borrow a mate's old one. So I MIGHT play it at some point.
- Zelda games released after Majora's Mask: Played OoT and MM on a mate's N64 back in the day so I never touched Wind Waker. On the other hand, you can get a Cube for about 40 euros which I wouldn't mind doing at some point.
Under the "Old games I never get round to playing because I have too many new ones lined up":
- Planescape Torment
- The first MGS
- Completing "System Shock"
- Blade Runner
You'll notice all of these can be played at some point, but I don't see that happening for some. Especially Blade Runner. At the rate I'm playing now, that game would take 2 years to complete.
Oh yeah, I'm also curious about all those TimeSplitters games.
EDIT: Ah yeah and Silent Hill 1 and 2. I just can't stand the fixed camera angles in those games. I hate it!!! Other than that I've always been curious about it.
