Poker dealer and part time author, I studied Journalism and Film for a bit, but I dropped out. I used to work in Prison that was a good job, both have comfortable ends though I won't be sticking with either Job, in a few years I plan to teach primary school.

Your options are many, either get your foot in the door of a career you are interested in or carry on with education as it's always useful if you're really unsure wha you want to do. Hope this helps.

I'm in my second year of becoming a physiotherapist (on bachelor level, mind). It's the best job there is.

It is a complex and demanding, but also relatively new field and not as messy and harsh as being a doctor.

Basically we help people to maintain there locomotor system as good as possible, help to improve the results of athletes at that level, rehabilitate, help in management of certain long term problems(arthritis, morbus bechterew..., assist in loosing weight or working out... there's a lot of stuff to do! And with society getting fatter and older we will always be more needed than strictly necessary. Kinda sad, but helps me getting food on the table later.

I don't have a job atm because I have really no time (plz don't argue with that, it's not me being lazy) but awesome parents who pay the abhorrent fees (for european eyes anyway, Americans will laugh at that).

I work with teaching kids how to swim. It's pretty fun, but you really have to like kids, because it can be a bit frustrating at times. :p
Also, the pay isn't that good, but I only have to work 2 days a week, so I guess it balances out. :)

Wokring customer service for a catalog company, good work for a nerd. Just sit in an air conditioned office and use the phone and PC to do stuff. When it is slow, I get to talk to people (though most of those other people are old ladies). Sure the customers can be a pain in me arse at times, but tis better than flipping burgers.

I've finished my degree in Music Industry Management and Live Production and now work full time in live music and festivals in the UK ^^ couldn't be more chuffed!

Definitely wouldn't have found a job in the sector without doing all the work experience in the field during my university though.

I studied game design and i am unemployed after working on a published AAA title that won prices for best gamedesign of the year. Isn't that ironic?

You will one day realize that working in the gameindustry is still work and has nothing to do with the fun you experience playing games or making Mods on your own. Not only do you start to live in the office (got lucky if your woman doesnt leave you)and start to loose all fun in games but you also eont earn enough money for your effort. Wanna have a family? Wanna be able to enjoy your life? Do you love games and want to keep loving them? Dont study gamedesign.
