I'd actually steal a style from nWoD: Mage the Awakening.
I'd be a Moros, a Necromancer on the path of Doom, of the realm Stygia and scion of the Watchtower of the Lead Coin.
Ruling Arcana: Death, Matter.
Inferior Arcana: Spirit.
Death: The Subtle Arcanum of enervation, decay and transitions, capable of removing and storing souls, enervating and forcefully transferring vitality, killing magic itself and affecting or creating undead, shadows and ectoplasm.
- "Like the fly that nourishes itself on death, I discern the specter of the grave in all its manifestations, from the grossest to the most rarified. I see unquiet ghosts and speak their whispered tongue. I know the ailing spirit for what it is. I scent the Reaper upon the wind and follow him to his hiding place, no matter how he seeks to conceal himself from me. I shape the very stuff of darkness, making it cast shadows of my own design"
Matter: The Vulgar Arcanum of alchemy, inanimate objects and inert elements (Air, Water, Earth), capable of shaping and transmuting almost all non-magical materials and enhancing and creating mundane objects.
- "Empiricism begins with observation. Even the primitive researchers of centuries past could deduce that simple truth for themselves. I gaze upon lifeless matter and see into it, witness the intertwined strands of atoms and molecules that comprise such substances. At a glance, I know one material from another, even those that are, to the eye of the mundane, seemingly identical. I look into such constructs and discern their secrets, their strenghts and... their flaws."
"So what if I can make diamonds from ash? All the riches of the earth will not buy you a single additional breath. Even diamonds will decay one day."
