If merchandise counts then mine is roughly $960.

The item is a full set of Triple Triad cards - the minigame from Final Fantasy 8, including visuals and the grid mat. I'd imagine the individual packs were priced at the equivalent of a couple of dollars in yen at the time. People also regularly sell individual cards for even more ridiculous prices. Ever since I learned that they were a real thing I wanted them, though. I had to watch as the listings for each set disappeared one by one until I could afford to buy one and when I could I did without a moment's hesitation.

If not then it was probably the Collector's Edition of Disgaea D2 that I imported from the US for around $140. Given that I don't usually go for CE's and that I don't tend to import then I would've spent less than half of that.

The Final Fantasy 14 PC Collector's Edition, as in the original release, not ARR. Paid MSRP but that game was dead in the water and borderline unplayable to me.

I got the Halo Reach Legendary Edition which was a good £120 ($180) out of my bank account. Statue is cool though, but looking back, was a flaming helmet really worth the price of 3x new games? Answer: Hell no.

There was this chocolate egg I'd bought that was really not worth the... oh you mean games? That has got to be Skyrim, considering the amount of (community made = free) mods it requires to be at least somewhat enjoyable. I mean at half the retail price sure, but full price? It is probably the only purchase I truly regret.

The fact that I had cumulatively spent about 175$ buying the original The Sims game and each expansion individually, the last of which I bought a mere month before they released a 40$ Game + All Expansions deluxe edition.

The taste of which has kept me from getting into later games in the series as the purchase price for "ALL THE CONTENT" which is kind of a big deal to me is exorbitantly overpriced even YEARS and YEARS after release.

I have sadly paid an arm and a leg because I badly wanted a physical version of Powerstone 1 &2 and Klonoa and the Tomba games...I mean I feel stupid for paying over 100 bucks or near 80 bucks for games nearly as old as me but...well, now I at least own them.

Wait didn't you get that Diary thing which reeks of fanfiction with it?

In 1996 I bought Mechwarrior II Mercenaries for $90 from a small computer store. According to an inflation calculator that's $128. I won't even buy games $60 now so $128 is right out.
