I like Japan and all, and am happy for them... but still, I'd have liked my team to win. 4 years is a long time to wait for another shot.




Physically, I burned my hand spilling some soup.

My ingrowing toenails operation. My toes were so f*ck up by the time for the opperation (seriously the list to get the operation was stupide!) since it was too swollen for the injection to make it numb for it to work. So I pretty much felt what they were doing to it during the operation.

It had to be when my friends cats both jumped on my chest at the same time. I could hardly breathe. That occurred about 2 days ago and even now, I don't feel all that great.

Mine isn't as impressive as the rest of your's, but the most recent injury is scratching my arm up pretty bad on something sticking out of a wall.
Also, double charlie horse while I was sleeping a few days ago.

My buddy deserves mention for getting shot in the least muscular part of the hip from ten feet away by a paintball gun. It broke the skin.

I live with chronic pain. My ankles hurt right now.

Lamp post vs my face... Cycling along happily on my mountainbike, gears have been acting up so I'm looking down and adjusting them as I pedal, then I look up and WHAM! - burst lip, scratched face, spitting blood and looking stupid. It was one of those that you just have to stop and sit down for a bit, but my bike is fine, not even a scratch.

You're actually pretty lucky. My cousin did exactly that, and even though he got checked out at the Doctors for a concussion, it got worse very fast and he has been severely brain damaged for about 12 years now.

It's torn between a really bad migraine (they thought I was going into seizures or stroking because half my body had gone numb. Literally - half my tongue, half my face, in a straight line down my body) and waking up the morning after getting hit by a car.
The second one was almost worse because I had amnesia, so I didn't know where, why, or when I was. So I just wake up in bed and my head is pounding and I can't move my head because the whiplash in my neck is so bad. And to top it off, there's a naked guy laying next to me and I think I'm a virgin (I was 19 at the time and thought I was 16ish - lost 3 years to amnesia for a bit).

I got really badly sunburnt last week. For the first two days I had fever and couldn't get any sleep. Then I got blisters on my shoulders (in day 3). Then the blisters started leaking pus (day 4). Now it's day 6 and my skin is peeling off, this experience turned form painful to itchy at day 5.

Just came back from camping. Getting bitten on every square inch of your body is not fun. NOT. FUN.

Oh, and getting hit in the forehead with a line drive when we were playing baseball wasn't exactly enjoyable either. Good thing it was a wiffle ball.

Probably when I woke up earlier with the same headache that I've had for 7 months. It's more ignorable now with the medication but it's still annoying.

Well... My nails on my big toes have this tendency to grow down and into the flesh, and I don't want that...
To using a hobbyknife, pincher and hand sanitizer, I dig into the toe and cut into the nail all the way to the roots, and pull of the part of the nail that have lodged itself into the flesh.
But a few days ago the knife slipped.

Ouch...


The most painful experience must be that time I got an infection in both outer and inner ear.
I decided to visit the doctor when my eardrum burstet while I was at work and a some reddish yellow stuff started dripping out.
Then it really started to hurt. -_-
The pain rendered me unable to move my jaw and almost my neck as well.
For 3 weeks I couldn't eat solid food... But on the bright side, I lost 8 kilos, at least that's something!
